Chapter 18 Competition pt.2

"Alex, Can I trust you to hold point; I've got to go and scan surroundings" Sam said

"Sure thing" Alex responded

[Two Squads Remaining] the announcer Blared

"Alex we got trouble incoming now!" Sam said as he rushed back in the door as an arc star came whizzing through the door

"Get down!" Nate said at the window

The arc star exploded slowing down Sam from getting past the frag that came through sending him against the wall; A kraber shot came through the widow turning th already downed robot into a box

"Sam!" Alex yelled

"Don't worry, I got this" Nate told Alex as he jumped out the building onto one of the enemy squad mates slicing their head clean off with his wrist blades before getting shot in the head by a kraber and then finished him

"Damn it Nate, at least you took one out" Alex said as she threw an arc star at the enemy sticking to them and downing them on explosion"

Alex started to run at the but couldn't because the kraber was fired at her but she dodged it. As alex got behind cover she noticed that the person she downed was self-reviving and she downed and shot them so that they died

With both teammates dead Alex charged the last person and since they didn't fire any kraber shots she assumed that they were out of ammo and her predictions were true because they started firing an R-99 at her missing all their shots due to having poor accuracy and high recoil

As Alex got to the enemy she pulled out her R-301 one clipping them and then saying "Game over"

(Timeskip)

"That was a pretty good game for you" Mirage said to Alex in his bar because he invited them not to eat or drink (On account they were robots) but to celebrate the win

"Thanks Elliot Witt" Alex said

"No need to call me that, Mirage or Elliot would do just fine" Mirage responded

"Okay Mirage or Elliot" Alex said jokingly

Mirage laughed at the joke and then said "since you are different model types from each other do you guys have different interests and stuff"

"No, we just do what we do" Alex responded

"One last thing" Elliot asked "Can you guys love"

Alex thought for a minute and the responded "I don't know"

NOTES: sorry for such a short chapter but I just couldn't find anything else to implement into this one
