On the face of it, Olympus was everything Seph had ever dreamed of.
The sky was always clear, she'd been there almost three weeks and wasn't sure she'd actually seen a cloud yet.
'Strange for a place with a king that makes thunder.' She thought to herself, walking the unfamiliar road to Ryan's house.
Seph noted that the sky hadn't been the usual blue colour she was comfortable seeing, it had a strong pink hue during the day.
It was bright bugglegum in the morning and pitch black at night, but never blue.
But then again, nothing about Olympus was really normal.
She rounded a corner and was met with a huge mansion with burnt orange bricks and a bright yellow door.
A frustrated sigh broke from her lips and she ran a hand through her frizzy hair.
"Everyone gets a mansion." She muttered enviously and knocked on the front door.
After a few seconds Euryale's tall figure appeared behind the opened door, the glow she emitted matching it perfectly.
"Persephone." She beamed. "I'm so glad you're here, Ryan and the girls are in the Lounge, just straight through."
"Thank you, Mrs- uh-."
"Euryale is fine, Persephone." She chuckled lightly and Seph smiled awkwardly.
Euryale ushered her into the house and sent her in the right direction before turning back to what she was doing before.
"Why are you always so late for everything now?" Ar moaned as Seph walked into the room.
"Why do you whine so much these days?" Seph mocked and plopped down beside Ryan on the dark blue sofa. "So, how is Olympic life working out for everyone?"
"Harry kissed me last night." Ryan let out, capturing the attention of the room.
"I have been here for an entire hour," Lena erupted, clearly outraged, "and you didn't tell me that?"
"I was waiting for a full house." He blushed.
"How was it? Was it good? Did you like it? Did he use to much tongue, he looks like he uses too much tongue." Ar babbled.
"He doesn't." Seph said involuntarily.
The three of them turned quickly to look at her with horrified looks on their faces.
"I was fourteen, shut up." She rolled her eyes and focused back on Ryan.
"Well," he began, looking at Seph cautiously from the side of his eye, "it was... amazing."
All three girls wore smiles that stretched from ear to ear.
"He took me for dinner and I got us ice cream while we walked along the beach." He gushed.
"The son of Poseidon walking near water?" Lena raised her eyebrows.
"I know, I was freaked out too," Ryan said matter-of-factly, "but no one else has powers so I took a chance and I can confirm there was no watery mishaps on the date."
Seph let out a breathy laugh, kicking her trainers off and pulling her feet under her.
She decided to keep the vine attack to herself for the time being, she didn't want to worry the others or take away from Ryan's happy news.
"We were out for hours and he went all quiet- I thought he'd gone off me," he continued, "but then he told me that he'd never been with a boy before and how he was so nervous because he liked me so much."
