Cuddles: Inouka Sō

Here's a short little drabble for this bb

She tried her best to focus on the task at hand, writing. Which was proving to be a rather difficult task as she counted down the minutes till Inouka came home from work. As the minutes passed by the estimated time he had said he was going to be home she had actually started to get into a groove with her work that had been piling up, but it was lost as soon as she heard the jangling of his keys. She scrambled towards the door, meeting his broad chest in her haste to beat him to open the door. The vibrations from his laugh only made her happier, he picked her up and wrapped her legs around his waist. Giving her a quick peck on the lips, dropping her on the couch following soon after.

"Ah, you're too heavy Sō!"

He merely nuzzled deeper into her neck, she could feel his smile on her skin as he planted kisses on her skin. The weight of his body was weirdly comforting, she would giggle when he'd plant a kiss behind her ear or the corner of her lips. Even leaving one above her eyebrow or a particularly wet one on her nose. His final destination was her soft lips, it lasted longer than the others. The feeling of his chapped lips on hers made her smile into the kiss. How had she gotten so lucky? He leaned on his arm admiring his beautiful wife with a lopsided grin on his face. She recalled how much he really did remind her of a golden retriever. "How was your day today, sweetheart?"

His words mumbled against her collar bone, she combed a hand through his brown hair. "The usual, nothing really special. How was work?" She noted how his face was filled with a number of combined expressions she couldn't quite place as he recalled his day in his head before speaking.

"It was... a day."

His lack of description caused her to let out a louder laugh, he had always been one for describing things in sounds more than words. She studied his face, noticing the crinkles around his eyes as his smile stretched from ear to ear. She was truly happiest wrapped up in his broad arms, she was thankful that he had played volleyball in high school. He planted light kisses to her face, leading her into a fit of giggles at the action. He raised himself onto his elbows looking down at her face. She met his gaze, mirroring his smile before reaching her hand to pull him back into her embrace.

They stayed like that for a while, both of their breathing falling into a soft rhythm. She soon heard quiet snores from Inouka, her lips quirked into a smile and she continued to run her hands through his hair. She followed him in sleeping not soon after. The sound of her phone ringing caused him to stir on top of her, effectively waking her up. She groaned as she peeled her eyes open, flicking her eyes towards her phone that was placed on the coffee table. She rolled her eyes before trying her best to reach her hand to grab the device.

She grimaced slightly at the name of her older cousin that showed up on her screen. She swiped to answer it, focusing on her husband's quiet snores, hoping she wouldn't wake him up. She had managed to keep quiet enough throughout the call that the most Inouka did was scrunch up his face before wrapping his arms tighter around her waist. She poked his cheek, trying to wake him seeing as it was getting quite late and it was better for them to sleep in their bed.

"Baby, let's go to bed," he merely groaned at her suggestion. He squinted his eyes at her as he raised himself, she let out a yelp as he lifted her. She gave up fighting as he started the trek up the stairs, he dropped her on the bed before he pulled off his tie. Soon enough he had trapped her in his embrace once again, but this time she didn't try to wake him. Deciding to bask in the overwhelming happiness she felt, before succumbing to sleep herself.
