Since I researched this bb I found he loves cooking, so I had to incorporate that. I also read recently a fanfic where they emphasized the importance of going from their last name to first name bases and it was so cute.

"Hey Miya-san?"
His attention shifted from his work to meet [e/c] orbs, which held excitement. He smiled, she was basically jumping out of her seat. He had learned since their first study session that she could barely focus most of the time, it was always a wonder that she was at the top of their class for someone who couldn't sit long enough to do anything. Even though his twin was just as hyper, he appreciated it much more on [y/n], it was more enjoyable than his brother's constant pestering.
"Yes [l/n]-san?" At the sound of his voice she intertwined her fingers, resting her head on them. Even the way her family name made her heart skip a beat, the way his lip would curve into a smile and his eyes seemed to lighten even a little bit.
"So we've been dating for a year now, right?" He nodded at her question, unsure of where she was leading it. "And most couples by this time have progressed a lot more than us, right?" He thought for a moment, sure they had a rather slow start, not even sharing a kiss on the lips till a month in. He never found it bothersome that they had gone so slow, it was the cause of her not wanting to rush into another relationship. He nodded skeptically, still unsure where she had been taking her point.
She opened her mouth before closing it, he was surprised at how much in thought she seemed to be. Most of the time she would just blurt out what she was thinking before processing first. But now she seemed to be deep in thought on how to form her next thought. He found it rather amusing, the way she bit her bottom lip as she pondered, her eyebrows furrowed in concentration. She opened her mouth releasing her bottom lip from her teeth, eyebrows raised as if to speak of a realization. "If you like you can call me by my first name," he raised an eyebrow, noting how the silence seemed to make her more embarrassed and flustered.
"[y/n], you really are cute when you're flustered."
At his teasing she seemed to go more red, stuttering over whatever she had been trying to say. Despite the teasing, her words had made him feel weak in the knees and he was thankful that they were sitting. By allowing him to use her first name, meant she trusted him enough and that she was in it for the long haul. That she really did love him as much as she says she did. He let out a sigh, he really had fallen for her, she was the one thing that seemed to make him weak. He extended his hand across the table enveloping her small hand in his. Even just the simple gesture seemed to calm her, he gave her a small smile as he studied her face. Even though she had her hair pulled back, baby hairs found their way to shape her face, her nose would crinkle every so when she was actually focused.
"Then I grant you to call me Osamu." He held a smile, but his eyes were playful, her lips pulled into a bigger smile of her own, making her dimples more prominent as she picked up her pen. They had sat in silence once again both trying to study, her small hand left his making him look up to see as she tapped her pen against her chin as if in thought once again, wearing a rather pleased smile.
"Can I call you 'Samu?"
She had heard it from his team when she would occasionally watch their practice, she had learned that he didn't like it if she came too often. She recalled when she had first gone to one of his practices, they had been dating for barely two months and being in such a new relationship they hadn't told anyone besides his twin.
When the team had entered the gym after changing most of them were surprised to find the girl sitting in the bleachers with her focus on her phone. Before anyone could comment the setter had called her name with a grin, she gave a small smile and a wave. He had barely made it halfway before being bumped in the shoulder by his twin as he passed. Her smile grew bigger at the sight of her boyfriend, he couldn't help but have a smile as well.
"'Samu, that's not fair, it's annoying that you get a cute girl and I don't"
Atsumu's words carried throughout the gym as ''Samu' had planted a light kiss on her lips. "You have more than enough fangirls throwing themselves at your feet 'Tsumu" his retort made the girl laugh, covering her mouth to hide her amusement. She hadn't really heard them call each other nicknames, it made her happy in how much they seemed to joke around. They had continued on like that for most of the practice, Osamu would throw a glance her way every so often especially after he spiked. Her smile had never faded throughout the practice, she wanted to visit his practices more often but she usually had clubs and he didn't like her teasing with his brother.
"If you get to call me a nickname, then I should too." She nodded eagerly, wondering what nickname he could come up with. "How about [n/n]?" she thought for a moment before happily agreeing to the name. He checked the time on his phone, it had gotten rather late so he offered to walk her back home. They had stopped at her door, she held up a finger signalling him to wait. She rushed inside, returning a few minutes later with her hands behind her back.
"I thought since we couldn't spend our anniversary together this would suffice." he admired her features, he could tell just how excited she seemed to be. She handed him the box, he ripped open the packaging carefully taking the book out of its wrapping. He looked at her in disbelief before returning his attention back to the book flipping through the pages.
"I know it's not full, but I got as many recipes from my family and a few friends."
Closing the book and balancing it in one hand he pulled her into a hug, making her laugh at his excitement. "I was hoping with the empty pages you could fill it with your own recipes!" he hugged her tighter, she wrapped her arms around his torso, he pulled back to take a good look at her face.
"You are the best, this way outranks the gift I got you."
"No! I love the necklace you got me!"
She fiddled with the said necklace that had their initials engraved on a gold plate. He rubbed the nape of her neck with his thumb, gazing lovingly into her eyes before leaning in to plant a kiss on her soft lips. She happily leaned into the kiss deepening the kiss, she was truly the happiest she had ever been and couldn't ask for a better person to be in her life. He had fallen head over heels for a girl who seemed to be full of surprises that he learned every day and had become soft for the [h/c] haired girl.
"Happy late anniversary, I love you [n/n]."
"I love you too, 'Samu."
Oh how he had loved hearing her say his name, he never loved hearing someone call his name or nickname more than how it seemed to roll off her tongue.
