Epilogue

"Good morning baby! Wake up na. Join me for breakfast"

Hindi parin si Serene gumigising. I tried 10x waking her up but she's deep asleep. Napailing nalang ako. Napagod ko ata ng sobra kagabi.

Napangisi ako ng maalala ang pagtatalik namin dalawa. I can't imagine making love with someone else. Fuck it, I am fucking smitten and bewitched by this lady.

"Grey?"

She muffled. Oh! My baby is awake. I give her sloppy kisses and slap her butt.

"Let's eat breakfast"

"I want ice cream with sky flakes na may banana na walang color"

Ha?

"What-where can I find a transparent banana-baby there is no such thing as-

Magsasalita pa sana ako ng bigla itong humagulgol. Fuck!

I panicked when she can't stop crying loudly. Nataranta akong bumaba ng kwarto para pumuntang kusina. Walang saging na walang kulay. Ano ba naman klaseng morning cravings yan.

Buti nalang at may ice cream sa ref at may skyflakes. May saging pero may kulay. Dinala ko ang gusto niya, she stopped whining when she saw the tray with the food she wanted. But her forehead creased when she forked the banana and set it aside.

"I don't want a yellow banana."

She said. Pinawisan ako ng umiyak siya kanina. Ano bang nangyayari sakanya. She started scooping. I sat beside her but she pushed me. What the fuck!?

"Baby-

"Don't call me baby! Alis please kasi Hindi ko gusto ang amoy mo!"
Sinupladahan ako ni Serene at nagpatuloy kumain.

WHAT!? But I just got a shower. I even sprayed her favourite scent of me! Nagiging bizarre ang mood niya.
I stood here silently but I'm kneading my temple. Could it possibly be?

"Bab-

"I told you! Don't call me baby"

Huminga ako ng malalim at lumabas ng kwarto. Is she pregnant? The mood, the cravings-I smiled. Am I going to be a daddy? Humalakhak ako at hindi maalis ang ngiti saaking labi.

That is the only why she's acting weird. I called Mom to inform her about Serene's strange behavior. At tama nga at baka nagdadalang tao na ito.

"Serene! We are going to the obgyn right now."

Her eyes widen. "WHY!?"

"Because you maybe pregnant miss"

She immediately fixed herself at hinila ako papasok ng sasakyan. Now somebody's excited.

"Congratulations! Your wife is pregnant"

It has been 7 years. And I'm already married to the woman I loved. Our marriage life isn't that perfect. We argue but we always end up forgiving each other.

May tatlo na rin kaming anak.
Our eldest, Red is now Seven. Next is Black and his twin White. There is nothing more I can ask for.

"Daddy!!! Look at Kuya Red! He ate my muffin" my son White cried.

"Kuya Red, why did you ate it?" Serene ask with a fake serious tone.

Red shrugged his shoulders and continued. What the-

Kahit ang asawa ko ay nagulat sa inasta ni Red.

"I ate it because I'm going to give him my whole muffin. I just exchanged ours so that he can have the whole"

I smiled and so as Serene. White stop crying and hug his older brother while Black on the other hand was just quiet. The complete opposite of White.

May ihihiling pa ba ako? Wala na.

I pulled Serene closer to me. The kids are busy eating. Pinandilatan niya ako ng mata at kinurot sa pisngi. I chuckled. Tomorrow, we are going to attend the wedding of Luke and Elisse. Nagkaroon na ito ng panibagong puso. No more worries, finally.
Green is now married too with his wife Kira which is his psychiatrist.

Some things were meant to be different. Some things were meant to experienced half and whole.

Kung pagbibigyan man ako ng pagkakataong ulitin ang buhay ko, I would choose the same time, the same year I met my beautiful wife

Madaming pagsubok ang nangyari, but when you come to think of it, the struggle was worth fighting for.

"Mahal na mahal kita Grey"

See? This is what I called perfect.
