A/N: back to our time
Hope's POV
I was sitting on my bed, thinking about the past week's events – Sheriff Mac's death, Josie or Lizzie turning into a heretic and my anxiety attack. Damn, it has been one hell of a week. I need a release, but not the wolf kind of release.
I walked into the music room and sat next to my piano. Yeah, you read it right I said my piano. This music room is different from the normal music room you know, every instrument here belongs to one of the students and what makes it even more special is that each of us got to design his instrument, it was Mrs. Salvatore idea, she said it would develop our creativity and give us a chance to express ourselves in a different way.
For example – I painted my piano with almost every color I have in my room, most of them belonged to my father and he gave them to me before he died so this is one of my ways to pay respect to him, my piano belonged to my uncle Elijah. I found it in a secret room in the compound one day and he taught me how to play it. After he died Aunt Freya gave me permission to take it with me to school. plus these colors remind me of the street of New Orleans, so every time I miss home I go to my piano.
On the wall near my piano there are Josie's guitars – Bass, electric, acoustic and a small ukulele. I helped her and Lizzie with their instruments as well.
Josie decided that her bass guitar will be painted in the pride flag colors so I just gave her the colors, for her electric guitar she wanted something classic yet a bit bold and different so I offered her a combination of light and dark blue, purple, white and some mustardy yellow. All of these colors put together give the guitar a cool twist, since the guitar itself is cream color. As for her acoustic guitar she wanted something simple but artistic so I took my pastel colors and gave her a free hand, I told her to go wild with it and it came out beautiful. I didn't know that Josie was into painting but all she said was 'it's nothing special, I just threw the colors on the guitar and prayed it would work' well I guess it worked. I decided that I would paint her ukulele as a gift from me, I painted the sunset with some light turquoise waves and it was calm and relaxing, just like Josie's smile.
