Chapter 17

𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙋𝙊𝙑
I slept inside Ahro eonni's clinic.

"Yen.." someone woke me up. I slowly opened my eyes and saw Ahro eonni. "What are you doing here? Didn't you sleep in our room?" she asked. "Sorry, I was roaming around at midnight and too tired to go back."

"It's fine, come with me."

"Where?"

"In the Palace. Jinheung also invited Banryu and Sooyeon. You are part of the group Yen." she smiled at me. "Okay, I'll just wash my face." She nodded.

After I'm done doing my things, we mount up to our horses and ride to the Palace. We arrived and mount down on our horses. "I can't wait to see Sooyeon." Ahro exclaimed as she lock her arms on mine. We walk and enter the dining room.

"Yen!" Chaewon shouted excitedly as she see me. "Your Majesty, is that how a Princess behave?" i joked and she chuckle. I sat beside Ahro eonni as we saw Banryu and Sooyeon.

"Soon to be mommy, Sooyeon." Ahro exclaimed.

"Hello appeoji." Jinheung hugged Sooyeon and he flicked Banryu's head, "Seriously stop it." Banryu annoyed by Jinheung. Sooyeon hugged the others also. "Yen! Ahro! I MISS YOU!" she shouted and ran to us. "Yah, be careful!" Ahro shouted. "Yen! I want to look at you all day so that my baby girl will get your beauty."

"I'm still prettier than her." Yeowool said as he fan himself. "Aish this dumbass hasn't change?" Banryu cursed.

"How do you know that it's a girl?" Sooho asked. "I want my niece to be a boy." he added. "I think it's a boy" Banryu said as he sat beside Sooho. "Long time no see, friend" Sooho said sarcastically. Banryu rolled his eyes. "How are you?" Jinheung asked. "I'm doing fine, but Sooyeon's mood changes everytime. It is scary." he answered. The boys laugh.

"Um guys, this is Princess Chaewon from the West." Jinheung introduce. Banryu and Sooyeon bowed to her, "Just call me Chae or Chaewon." she smiled. "Hello Chae!" Sooyeon said cheerfully.

We sat down and ate our food. "Guys let's have a bet." Ahro eonni suggested. "We will guess the gender of Sooyeon's baby. Who ever loses, will treat the winner in Okta." she continued.

"I like that." Chaewon agreed and smiled. "So we will form a two groups. Banryu's group are the boys while Sooyeon's group are the girls." Ahro continued.

"Game! I never experienced lose in my life." Sooho bragged.

"That's why I keep on winning when we play soccer." Banryu added. Sooho action to hit him and I chuckled. "Let's do this. Our guess is a Girl." I said with full of pride. "We guess it's a boy." Jinheung said as he cross his arms.

We finish our breakfast and we said goodbye to each others. "Hey." Jinheung called me out. I look around, "Yes?" he interwined our fingers. I blush of his actions, "What are you doing?" I whispered. "Let's go to the garden." he dragged me to the garden.

"It's been awhile i last visited this place." I said as we hold our hands. "I want to marry you."

"Can we.. take it slower?" I said shyly. He smiled at my shyness and cupped my face, "Let's do that." i kissed his nose and ran.

"Yah! That's unfair!" he shouted and ran after me.

"Yah, Yah!" he caught my wrist and spin me to face him. He bend to match my height, "Does my nose looks like my lips to you?" he stared at me. "Why? Isn't that your lips?" i covered my mouth, "I'm sorry~" i teased. He sigh in disbelief and suck his cheeks. I turn around and walk again but he hold my head. "Small girl, how dare you turn your back to your King?"

"Sorry, you're no King for me."

"Then who am I to you?"

"My.. love?" I acted cutely in front of him. He hold my hands as he look around and smiled widely. "Stop making me soft, jebaaaal~" he whined while playing with my fingers. I laugh how cute he is. Suddenly Pa Oh interrupted us.

"Sorry for interrupting you, Your Highness but we have something to discuss." Pa Oh said and Jinheung nodded, "I'll follow." Pa Oh bowed and left. He hold my hands tightly, "I'm sorry, I gotta go." he kissed the palm of my hands. "It's fine. We also have a plan for today while the Hwarangs are resting." I said to him give him a peck on his lips.

I mount up on my horse and Chaewon approached me. "Yen.." she smiled, "Where are you going?" I asked her. "Ahro eonni told me to tell you that we're going somewhere."

"You're not leaving yet?" i asked her with a smile on my face. She nodded, "Yes, I want to stay longer. I wanna have fun with my long lost friend." she chuckled. "Come on, let's go to the Okta." I said to her and we ride to the Okta.

As we arrived in the Okta, Sooyeon and Ahro eonni approached us. We sat beside them, "I bought some tea for us! I'm sure we're going to win." Sooyeon chuckled. "Oh, Is it okay to hang out with you, Princess?" Ahro eonni asked worriedly. Chaewon laugh a little and nodded, "Don't worry. You guys are my friends too."

"You're so kind, Princess. I think my baby will have an aunty who is a royalty." Sooyeon joked. "Call me Chaewon, and yes I will be an aunty to your soon to be baby." she smiled. "Really?! Wah, you should come back here after I give birth." Sooyeon exclaimed.

"Sooho is your brother right?" Chaewon asked. "He's dumb. I don't want my baby to be like him." Sooyeon pouted. "Just don't let your child being taught with him." I joked and they chuckle. "I heard about Jinheung and Yen's relationship." I widen my eyes of Sooyeon's words, "Yah, keep your voice down." I scolded her. "So it's true?!" she raised her voice. "Yah!" Ahro eonni flick her head. " Ah!" she rubbed her forehead.

"These group of friends is what I want." Chaewon stated and we look at her confused. "You don't have friends in the West?" Ahro eonni asked. "Jinheung is only my friend. Now he's ruling his own Kingdom. They always treat me a Princess. It's hard.." Chaewon looks down and I hold her hand. "Don't worry, we're here." I smiled to her. "Yeah, we will send you a message every month." Sooyeon added. Tears slid on her cheeks, "You guys are sweet." she said.

"Let's go buy some hanbok?" Ahro eonni suggested. "I don't have any money." I said. "Don't worry. I got this." Chaewon winked at us. "What are we waiting for? Kaja!" Sooyeon exclaimed.

As we are done doing our work the boys entered. "So when is the marriage?" Yeowool teases as they sat down. "Hmm, are you two a thing now?" Sooho asked. "Finally we have our new Queen!" Sunwoo exclaimed.

"Yah, stop it. Welcome back Banryu."

"You know it's my day off for taking care of Sooyeon today so.. why don't we go to Okta this night?" Banryu suggested. "Drink soju?" Sooho asked. I shook my head and rolled my eyes. "Where's your Queen by the way?" Yeowool asked and Yen entered the throne room.

"Speaking of.." Yeowool smirks.

"I'm sorry. Are you in the middle of something?" she asked worriedly. How can you be this cute. I shook my head and she nodded.

"When is the marriage, Yen?" Sooho shouted. I took off my shoe and throw it to Sooho's direction. "Shut your mouth you idiot." I glared at him as he rub his head and throw my shoe back.

"Anyways, what brings you here Yen?" i asked her as she walks closer.

"Why? You guys are dating so her reason is not really nece---" Yen smack Yeowool's head and the boys laugh quietly. "y-ah!" he rubbed his head. I'm very proud of my girl.

"So why am I here? It's a serious problem." she looks at us seriously. My face turn serious, "What is it?"

"It's about Baekje."
