Chapter 31

𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙔𝙚𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙨𝙪 𝙋𝙊𝙑
We arrived in the Kingdom of Silla. Mother said I shouldn't be friendly to the Silla since they are ban on our Kingdom. After what mother confessed to me, I am confused if i will still call myself a Prince of Goguryeo.

As I was walking I bump in to someone.

"Hello!" The boy said. "I'm Prince Yeoweon of Silla." he smiled. I walk back slowly as he tap on me, "I guess you're from Goguryeo." I nodded slowly as he throw his arms upon my shoulders, "Don't worry. I'm not a bad person. All the people of Silla are kind."

"Mother said.. not to trust anyone." I walk out.

I quickly got in my palanquin. "Let's go back. I don't like it here." the guards obeyed my order.

It's already lunch time and I was looking for the Prince of Goguryeo. He just disappeared and everyone is looking for him.

The activities are now done and we say goodbye to the royalties. "Thank you for visiting the Sacred Kingdom Silla." I said with full of pride.

"Wah, that's my boy." my father ruffles my hair. "How are the Princesses?" Samcheon Sooho asked. "Samcheon I'm not like you." I chuckled and father smacked him, "Don't you dare teach my son like that."

"Your personality comes from Jinheung yet your pretty face from Yeowool." Samcheon Sunwoo commented. "I agree." mother showed up. "How was it, my Prince?" she asked. "It was fun, mother." I replied.

King Jinheung sat on his throne and I ran to him, "Samcheon, I met the Prince of--"

"I'm sorry Yeoweon but I have something to do with my Hwarangs."

My Samcheons and father frown their eyebrows. I nodded, "Oh I understand." I said as my mother guided me to my room.

"He will come back. In 3, 2.."

"Mother." A smile was formed on my lips. "How's Silla?" I asked. "I'm sorry but I couldn't stay there a little longer so I can't tell you how was it." he looks down.

"It's fine, son."

"Now that I knew who I am. Will you still call me, your son?" he asked as I stood up. "You are always my son, Yeongsu." I walk to him, "Don't feel guilty about it. I love you as my son." I kissed his forehead and he hugged me.

"I will take good care of it, mother. I will not let you down." He murmured.

"Can you bring me to my room?" I smiled weakly to him and he nodded.

I become weak as I grow older. The doctor said I don't have much time to live because of my heart. Jinheung, you're still in my heart. I want to see you before I die. I always thought that before I sleep.

"Mother. Here we are." he said as he gently lay me back on my bed. "Mother, I want to hear the love story you always tell me." he sat on the edge of the bed. I sat, "How many times should I repeat that story?" he pouted. "That's the most unique love story I've ever heard. It's happy in the beginning but sad in the end."

Yeongsu really loves to write love stories but mostly it has a happy ending. He found my story unique because of the ending. "There's this mermaid who is pretending to be a human because she saw a handsome boy leaving near the shore.."

"Won't you change the ending, mother?" he asked. "Why would I? I like it." I smiled. "What if I'll rewrite it?" he suggested.

"You can but don't change the ending."
