Chapter 23

𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙋𝙊𝙑
The day passed and I change myself into my Hwarang teacher uniform. "This is my last day wearing this. I'm going to miss it." i whispered to myself.

"Can you stand properly?" Hwaso asked. "Don't worry, you'll be there with me." I respond.

"Are you going to reveal yourself there?"

I nodded, "Yes. I'll be leaving them soon and they deserve to know. They are respectful, funny, good students to me." I respond. "Kaja" I said as we got outside.

We arrived at the Hwarang House and they bowed at me as I stand in front of them. "Hello Hwarangs. I am here not to scold you," they chukled. "But I'm here to say goodbye to all of you." They let out a gasp and whispered.

"I am not Miss Yen, Hwarangs. I am Princess Seoi from Goguryeo." they widen their eyes as they bowed to me. "Noo, no need to bow. I can see your improvement and you guys aren't bad. I am happy that I taught you well. Until we meet again, Hwarangs."

They clapped and cheering. "Miss Yen! I mean, Princess Seoi, Thank you for teaching us. We are really honored." the Hwarang bowed. I laugh and nodded. "You can now proceed to Master Wihwa. You can still call me Miss Yen."

"Ne Miss Yen!"

They walk to the room and Jihun stop infront of me. "Princess, thank you for your existence. Thank you very much because of you I improve my sword fighting." he bowed, "See you soon, Princess Seoi." I tap on his arm and he smiled.

"Wah, your students are really good Your Majesty." Hwaso commented. "I know. It's hard for me to leave them but I got some business back home." I respond.

"I know the Queen regent doesn't want to step down." I added. "What will you do, Your Majesty?" she asked. "Let's see when we get home." I said as I started to walk.

I haven't sleep because of what happened. I'm still thinking about her. Why did she have to lie? I should've marry her if I knew that I would like her this much.

"Jinheung." Sunwoo approach as they entered the throne room.

"What do you want?" i said as I put my chin on my palm.

"We're here to tell you that.. Princess Seoi is going back in Goguryeo in 1 day." Sooho continue. I look at them, "Then?"

"Are you really going to act like that until she will leave?" Banryu asked. I rolled my eyes. "She wants to visit you before she travel back home." Sooho said.

"Please don't hurt her. She's not that well." Sunwoo said as the doors open revealing Yen.. Princess Seoi and Hwaso.

They walk to the center of the room and the Hwarangs step aside and bowed.

"Princess Seoi greets you, Your Highness." she said. I just stared at her with my cold eyes. She nod at her servant and Hwaso goes outside. "Jinheung, I'm really sorry I lied. I never knew that i would love you this much. If I would know, I shouldn't lie to you. I was supposed to reveal myself to you. Something here," she points at her heart, "Said no. So i asked you before if I am the Princess will you still love me? But you respond that you hate liars."

She looks at the Hwarangs, "You guys are the best friends i could have." They smiled. "I want to say good bye to you guys for I have to go back.. now."

"What?!" Sooho ran to her same as the boys. "Lying is bad, Seoi." Sunwoo glared at her. "Sorry guys, I really need to go back now. I'll be back.. soon." They hugged her and I stood up.

"Leave." Seoi turn to me with teary eyes. "Oh.. sure Your Highness."

The boys are crying, "Promise us you'll message if something goes wrong." Sunwoo hugged Seoi. She nodded.

"See you guys soon." She left the throne room.

"You really hold grudge, do you?" Sooho glared at me. They all left the throne room leaving me alone.

I don't want to see her leaving. That's why I'm being hard on her. I don't want her to see me crying. I want to hate you but when I see those eyes, it's soften to me.

"Kill the Queen regent." Prince Chang ordered. "We will go to the Goguryeo and I want her to see what her daughter done to me." he continued.

"The Princess is coming back in Goguryeo, Your Highness." his guard said. He smiled slyly, "Well this is nice. I will kill the both of them."

𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙋𝙊𝙑
We mount up on our horses. Ahro eonni and Soyeon eonni was crying. "Be back when I deliver my baby girl, okay?!" Sooyeon shouted at me.

"I promisee." I smiled at them. "Aish, we will miss you." Ahro said while carrying Jiro. "Goodbye noona. Be back soon." he cried. I nodded and we gently kick our horses and ride off.

When we reach the main gates of Silla, the guards bowed to me. I put my mask on and ride outside the capital.

After many hours of riding, we stopped nearby the river. "I miss traveling," Hwaso commented. "Fill the bottles and we will rest for tonight." I said to her while resting my back on a tree.

"Don't you miss him?" she asked. I open my eyes and smiled bitterly, "I do. But does he?"

"I can still see his love for you. He didn't mean it, Your Majesty."

"I don't really care about that anymore. I need to focus on my Kingdom. Stop talking now and let's sleep Hwaso-ssi." I closed my eyes.

"Your Majesty, wake up."

"Why--" Hwaso covered my mouth. "Someone's here. I think it's Baekje's guard. I'm not sure." she was scared. "Shh, I'm going to face them." i told her. I stand up and she grab my hanbok. "I won't let you." she whispered. I shook my hand and remove her hand on my hanbok.

"What brings you here?" i glared at them.

"Your Majesty!" they ran to me and bowed. "Our Kingdom..." I widen my eyes. "What's wrong?!" i asked them. "Baekje.."

I frown my eyebrows and ran to Hwaso. "Hwaso, go back to Silla. Tell Sunwoo i need their help. Our Kingdom is in danger."

"How about you?"

"I will go with the guards. Don't worry about me. I will be fine." I kissed her forehead. "Go now." she nodded and mount up on her horse. "Be careful, Hwaso." she then ride off.

"Let's go." i told the guards and they nodded.

𝙃𝙬𝙖𝙨𝙤 𝙋𝙊𝙑
I ride to Silla and I arrived at night. I go straight to the Palace and the guards open the throne room.

I ran to them and fell on my knees. I was catching my breathe. Sooho ran to me help me got up. "We.. need your help." I said to them.

"What happened?" Sunwoo asked worriedly. "Our Kingdom is in danger and Seoi told me to tell you. We really need your help."

"Where's Seoi?" Yeowool asked.

"She.. She continued to travel in Goguryeo."

"What?!" Jinheung raised his voice makes me startled. "Jinheung, we need to help her." Sunwoo said to him. "Call our soldiers." Jinheung ordered and left the throne room.

"I know he still cares for her." Sooho smiled. "Are you okay?" he turn to me. I blushed realizing his hand was on my waist. "Um." I remove his hand and stand properly. "I.. am fine." i avoided eye contact with him. "You can go wait outside while we're gathering our soldiers. She will be alright." he calm me down. I nodded and got outside.

As I got outside and saw their soldiers. They really care for our Kingdom and our Princess. I thought to myself.

King Jinheung stands beside me. "Show us the way." I nodded and mount up on my horse. I ride with my horse and they followed me.
