So I told dad all about Tommy and then after talking a bit more, I told him I was going to bed. We get up and walked to the door and before I shut the door, I stopped him.
"Um, dad, one more thing." He turned to me and leaned against the wall.
"Yes, my little lotus flower?" He asked as I looked from the ground up at him.
"Tommy asked me out on a date tomorrow and I said yes. Okay bye!" I rushed as to not let him freak out and then shut and locked the door in his face.
"WHAT?!" He screamed as I leaned my back against the door, keeping myself from falling over laughing.
💫The next morning💫
I woke up from a dreamless sleep to find an outfit already laid out on my bed. I huffed.
"Nope. Nope. Na uh. Not wearing that. I'm picking my own clothes." I said to myself as I looked at the clothes and then turned around to go to my closet. You see, I really hate people choosing stuff for me so, I usually ignore it and choose things myself, but my older sister occasionally tries to do this. She loved dressing me up as a kid. I like to go my own path and make my own choices, even if it's something as minor as picking my clothes.

(The white and silver are purple) After I got dressed and got my black cat backpack, I walked down stairs to see my dad making pancakes. My brothers and little sister were eating at the dinning table. My older sister Saphere was probably still picking her outfit in her room while mumbling pros and cons to each piece of clothing.
"Hey little lotus! Let me guess, pancakes with banana, blueberries and dragon fruit on the side?" My dad asked as he put 5 pancakes on a plate before cutting up some fruit and putting it decoratively on the side of the pancakes.
I nodded and chuckled before quickly taking the plate and scarfing down the food only to have my dad place 2 more on my plate since everyone in this house seems to have the appetite of a fucking god. After I ate those two pancakes I started making my lunch which consisted of 2 cups of dragon fruit mixed with blueberries, cut up strawberries and some kiwi, a banana, 2 roasted tomato sandwiches and 2 carrot cake muffins.
I know it's a lot but I have a large appetite and besides, I usually give other people some of my food too. Except for the fruit. That will always be mine. I keep all my food in a separate bag from my books since my lunch bag is kinda like a mini cooler bag. Anyways, I walked up the stairs and told Saphere she'd have to drive herself and Jesse to school since I wasn't taking them home since I have something after school, yesterday they just got to explore so I didn't actually need to take them back home myself. She said Okay and I ran back down stairs to kiss my dad on the cheek and give my younger sibling a hug while I gave my older brothers finger guns while I walked to the garage.
"See ya, bitches!" I yelled and ran out laughing before my dad could chastise me for swearing. I hopped into me truck and figured I could pick Tommy up, so I drive to his house and parked in front and waited for him to come out. After a minute of waiting I got bored so I hopped out and leaned on the side of my truck that faced his house. I saw a women look out the window at me, then the door opened and out came Tommy with a surprised look on his face.
"Surprise~! I figured I would pick you up since we have some time before school starts." I said to him with a smile as I met him half way down his driveway.
"I uh, sure! I was just getting ready to leave actually. But is it alright if we go and pick up Jason? He usually walks with me to school, so we can talk about our Karate classes." Tommy asked to which I nodded as he walked around the passenger side of my truck as I hopped into the drivers side and started my truck.
"Okay, so where does he live?" And with that we were off to go pick up Jason.
💫timeskip to Jason's house💫
I parked in front of Jason's house just as he walked out. I rolled down the window and revved the engine to get his attention. He looked up at me and seemed surprised that I was outside his house. Then he saw Tommy and smiled at his friend.
"Hey Tommy, Fox." He nodded to me.
"Hey, we're here to pick you up." Tommy said as I unlocked the doors so Jason could get in. Once he was in with all his stuff, I locked the doors again and started the drive to school.
"So, when did you two become so close?" Jason asked with a smirk making me laugh and Tommy to choke on his spit and before he could embarrass himself by stuttering.
"Tommy just happened to be the person at school I talked to the most. If I do not like someone, I tell them, if I like someone, I tell them. Tommy is just one of the people I have met who I happen to like." I told Jason as he nodded and Tommy calmed down.
"Hey Fox, did you hear about the attack yesterday? It was probably strange to come here and see stuff like that on the news." Jason asked me as I shrugged.
"To be honest with you Jason, although it may be hard to believe, that was not the weirdest thing I have seen." I admitted to him as I kept my eyes trained on the road as we came to a stoplight. I glanced at the two boys in the truck to see the confusion and curiosity show in their expression.
"What do you mean by that?" Tommy asked as I just chuckled and waved it off, the light turned green and I turned to the rode on my right.
"Nothing you need to worry about. Just some strange things in Russia now, any other questions you have for me?" I asked Jason and Tommy as the two thought about anymore questions.
"What did you think about the power rangers? It must be interesting to be living in a town with real superhero's." Jason asked once again with a genuinely curious expression.
"Well, I have nicknames for all of then now since calling them, for example, red ranger or green ranger is kind of boring. Other then that, I just think of them as normal people who just protect others. Which is what most people should do. Under their helmets they are probably just normal humans after all, just with a little bit more power." I told him as the school came into view.
