"You've all got your costumes, right?" Aizawa asked, as class 1-A gathered in front of him at the train station. The girl held her case, unsure of what her own costume looked like. Something about her not submitting any preferences for her outfit. As the class cheered in excitement the hero sighed, "be sure to mind your manners, let's go," he said before dismissing everyone.
The villain found herself next to Midoryia and Uraraka as they trailed behind Iida. "Iida... if you need someone to talk to, you can always talk to us," Midoryia spoke, a worried expression on his face as the blue haired male turned around.
The girl noticed a different look in his eyes compared to when she last saw him at the festival. In fact, she'd noticed him acting strange back at UA when deciding hero agencies. "We're friends after all," Uraraka added, as the girl only nodded her head, a small smile on her face.
He blankly said, "sure," before turning back around to leave. They exchanged worried glances before Y/n was tapped on the shoulder. "We should get going Tamashi," Todoroki said, as the girl nodded and bid her goodbyes to the others. "Good luck!" She shouted back with a smile before stepping into the train and taking a seat beside the half and half boy.
As the ride commenced Todoroki felt the need to say something, which was unusual for him considering the male tended to keep to himself. "Tamashi..." he started, grabbing her attention as she looked over for him to continue. What was he going to say again? He'd forgotten as soon as the girls name left his mouth.
"Todoroki?" She questioned after he seemed to have spaced out. Honestly speaking though, he was just internally panicking despite how little the anxiety showed on his face. The males social skills lacked any if not all conversation starters.
"... when we arrive, I'm sorry if my old man seems harsh, you'll just have to get used to it," he'd said the first thing that came to mind. Even if that meant bringing up his painfully assertive father... he was trying okay.
The girl hummed and nodded her head, "That's alright! I chose his agency since he definitely won't hold back, it'll be a learning experience," she said, running her finger over the costume case that rested on her lap. "Your positivity is... refreshing," he answered slightly baffled. The male always seemed to find that people saw his father as intimidating or forceful. Even if it was true, the fact that the girl chose to take those qualities and use it to challenge herself put her in a new light.
The rest of the train ride was peaceful as the two finally arrived. Todoroki sounded three small knocks on the front door as she stood a little ways behind him. It swung open and immediately Todoroki was engulfed in a hug, he awkwardly stood still and accepted it. "Fuyumi? What brings you here?" His muffled voiced asked, before he was released.
