So, after the unwanted scene caused during lunch Y/n still choose to sit with those she arrived with. Although, the way the ash blonde put it made it seem like sitting with them was a bad thing. 'You chose your... side,' she just could not get it out of her head. Aren't heroes suppose to be on the same side? He spoke as if these people were against him, and the girl sensed that none of them had any murderous intent whatsoever as her instincts could sniff out that aura from what felt like miles away.
She was mostly spaced out for all of lunch, which in her case wasn't anything new, but the students took it as an odd thing since she seemed so outgoing upon her arrival. But, they took it as a sign of her being shy as it was technically her first day, whereas everyone else had already gotten used to each other (not to mention survived a villain attack together).
"So Tamashi!" Uraraka snapped the girl out of her thoughts, as she looked up from her lunch with a wide smile and nodded for her to continue. "I'm curious, what's your quirk?" She asked, it was an innocent question really, but she didn't know how to respond since her quirk actually involved the use of emotions.
The name she originally thought of for it had to do with that. But, the white colour she chose to use for this assignment had nothing to do with emotions whatsoever so it rendered the name impractical and it would just cause more questions to arise with it.
"Hm?" The villain tilted her head, hoping to stall for more time to think of something that could actually make sense. "That is true, kero, since your new it seems your quirk has become a wildcard of sorts," Asui spoke, the end of her pointer finger tapping her chin as her tongue slightly stuck out.
"Well... then it'll stay a secret! Hehe, you'll have to wait until the sports festival!" The girl grinned successfully avoiding the topic for now. Plus, keeping it under wraps wasn't a terrible idea for the sports festival... it could give her an advantage really.
Iida readjusted his glasses and fixed his posture, "that is a viable strategy, I'm impressed... you're using your late arrival as a way to gain leverage for the event," his glasses glinted off the lunch rooms ceiling lights. Did he actually think she thought it through to that extent? It was totally ridiculous, you would think the smile on the girls face hinted to the male that she was simply being cheeky about it.
The purple haired girl beside Uraraka snickered, poking Iida's cheek across their lunch table with her earphone jack. "Iida you dummy, it's not that deep," this caused the table to erupt into laughter, the sound making Y/n almost cringe at the obnoxious noise. The girl scratched the back of her head, softly agreeing with Jirou as the males face paled.
The lunch bell signalled everyone to get a move on, their conversation still carrying on as they cleaned up. The group made their way to leave, their formation resulting in Iida walking beside the girl as they left. "Tamashi... my apologies for making such assumptions earlier," she looked over at him, realizing that once perfect posture was slightly stiffer. Had this really affected him that much? Was everyone such a snowflake here? The girl wondered, as she has received much worse assumptions about herself from far worse people.
