It feels so empty here. The only things within the shadow is darkness and us. I feel Spark trying to make some light but it’s pointless. This place almost has all the characteristics of a vacuum. If there wasn’t air here...

Spark moves in my arms and I can feel him making his way to my backpack. The fact there’s no gravity helps him greatly  with maneuvering around me. Once I feel that he is within the bag I start to look around to see if Sly left an exit or something. But it’s futile.

I pretend to lay on my back and float through the void. I feel Spark positioning himself to go to sleep. After what feels like 5 minutes, I feel no movement in the bag. I’m glad he’s able to relax in a situation like this. I continue to slowly look around.

Look to the left;Nothing. I look to the right; Still nothing. I look down; “O look, Still nothing.” I look up and jump outta my skin. The little girl is looking straight into my soul. Her eyes darker than the surrounding darkness. I look away.

“That’s not nice. Am I that hideous?”

“I thought we were alone.”

“We are.”

I quickly take off the bag and see that I still can’t see. So I feel the inside of the bag. Spark is gone.

“WHAT DID YOU DO?!” I yell outta anger.

“Watern took him out of the void. You and I are the only one’s left in here.”

I can feel a sudden stop even though we are still in the void. I look down and see that I still can’t see my own body. The little girl is still visible though.

“Why can I still see you?”

“That’s not important.”

“I like trivial answers.”

“Like I care.”

“Okay, so why are you here?”

She looks away. Then back at me. Her scythe now in her hand. “I need you to kill someone.”

“Sure.”
