Without further ado, here are the winners for Poetry:

1st Place:

"Ocean Empo" by KingEmpo

Score: 97/100

Review: I personally really enjoyed reading it, very creative and beautiful. I love how she/he found the perfect words to describe the ocean and just everything in the poem in general. Will for sure be reading more into it.

2nd Places (there is a tie!):

"26 Titles" by Akari_Nekomata_Nami

Score: 93/100

Review: While reading all I could think is, "holy crap that's beautiful." Really is quite breathtaking, deep, emotional, and meaningful. I will for sure be reading more!!

"Bittersweet" by _silvernights

Score: 93/100

Review: I love how the poet creates beautiful imagery to express their feelings. The alliteration of the sound 's' creates a smooth flow and sets the mood. I especially appreciate how the poet has made use of pathetic fallacy and nature metaphors to creatively convey the ideas. However, polishing on the structure of the poems might help enhance the quality of your writings. Overall, it was a pleasure to read your poems!

"Holiday and Seasonal" by JaszElise

Score: 93/100

Review: The poems have their own holidays and that was great work. It has the poet's opinions of each holiday, as well as what we see during those times. The book cover was great but it has a lot of objects and splashes of certain colours that it confuses the reader on what is happening on the cover. Figurative languages were barely applied but it's alright as the messages were conveyed properly and clearly. Keep up the good work!

3rd Places (a tie again):

"Drifting Poems" by TheStunningAvocado

Total score: 92/100

Review: The poems are short but sweet. It conveys their own messages quickly and clearly. I'm a little bothered by the titles but it changed my perspective once I read the content. The flow is excellent and aesthetics were applied.

"Soulscapes" by Sherzahd

Total score: 92/100

Review: I rarely get chills while reading, but like wow, this book will give you those, if you can bear to understand it truly. Very deep, and meaningful book, thought-provoking.

Runners-up:

4. "COVID-19 Poems" by Anezka_L

Score: 91/100

Review: The poems are uniquely settled in a certain setting and the pieces are superb. Every person can relate to this, especially amidst these dark times. I admit, the poems hit me with the words "relatable" and it made me laugh and reminisce about the times when we can still roam around outside. Overall, it's an enticing read for people who love to read light-hearted pieces.

5. "Forever June" by eternitea40

Score: 91/100

Review: I adore the prose very much. It has a profound meaning in every verse even though the written words are simple. Most of the poems convey the intended messages immediately and some were a little scattered. Overall, I love the prose and poems and it leaves me thinking about the outside world.

6. "What Lies Between the Lines" by SilverWarren

Score: 91/100

Review: The poems are raw and emotional with bittersweet messages. The flow was a little unstable but it's still fine, the mood in the poems are portrayed well.

7. "|alphabetically poetic|" by mindisequaltoblown

Score: 90/100

Review: First of all, I appreciate how you did not restrict yourself to a specific style of poetry. Not only was it creative but I feel it is a nice way to also educate the readers on the vastness of poetry! I especially like the first poem, there's a flow between the lines and I like how you have tried to spread positivity, touched on the issue of equality in its wider sense and self- love through your writings.
