Without further ado, here are the winners for Teen Fiction:

1st Place:

"The Dark Places" by authorwriterbard

Score: 94/100

Review: From the beginning, I was very impressed with this novel. The Dark Places takes you on a wild ride from the start. The blurb could mention Madeline (his first girlfriend) a bit more. The cover is beautiful and ties in the themes of Seth becoming darker with time. The title matches the themes of Seth's inner struggles. The Dark Places is beautifully written. The author has taken great care with the plot, pacing, and character development. There were little to no errors in this novel. The Dark Places is fresh. It is not cliche. It is raw and real. It grabs the reader's attention. The attention to deal and emotion is spot on. The author has painted the setting of every scene flawlessly. I can picture the environment for every scene in my mind. The characters are relatable. I found myself carrying about Seth and identifying with the way he made decisions. This book's underlying message is clear from the beginning. Seth's personal goals to overcome his darker side are made clear through the book. The Dark Places was a wonderful novel to read. It was full of amazing characters. I want to know more about Seth. Congratulations. 

2nd Place:

"Fight of Desire" by Anne_Hedonia 

Score: 93/100

Review: The cover is interesting. I think it could use some more flair, it's a little blurry which could be seen as unprofessional. The idea itself I love, but it's not eye-catching you know? I absolutely love the title, it really goes with the book. Most stories talking about a girl boxer are called "The girl boxer" which makes it way too common. This one is unique, because not only is she fighting but she's fighting with cause, and that's what makes it special. I absolutely love the plot, and after reading a couple of chapters I saw no plot holes. Anne was writing with confidence, and that's what I love to see in books. It is a unique story, and even though there is a popular guy, he's kinda shy, and he's known and everyone wants to be his friend, very interesting perspective. I also love how the main MC really is independent of not only herself but of a little sister as well. Use of language was really good, my only issue is that sometimes before dialogue there would be two spaces, which isn't necessary. 

The plot definitely has a fresh approach. Very original as we do not see a lot of strong main girl protagonists and we all love seeing that type of thing here on Wattpad. Eve is very dependable and you can tell she's been through a lot. The writing style is totally my type. I love reading simple books with snarky remarks and great description, and that's what happens in this book. Anne knows how to describe even the littlest of things, and knows when to do it. She doesn't overdo it, something most writers do. Though this character is commonly able to be relatable, I already feel a special connection with not only Eve but Renan too. I know how it feels like to be known and be used. Anne really represents the characters' thoughts well. I haven't read the full book, so I am not entirely sure what the message is, but I think it is not to judge a book by its cover. As Reenan said in the third chapter if I am correct "this girl is full of surprises." and that's what the message is.
