1st places (a tie):

"Amethyst 1: inception" by booklored

Score: 97/100

Review: What an amazing story it is and the way it was written was the best. It was so descriptively written that I felt like I was in the story. The cover was very attractive and the description mysterious. I just failed to understand the message behind the story in only 5 chapters, I would definitely read more. Great work, keep going.

"The Four Spirits" by Fitzphie4thewin

Score: 97/100

Review: The blurb is perfect. It does a nice job of introducing us to Scarlett. The book cover is simple. It ties in nicely with the story. Some of the words on the cover are hard to read. The title is perfect. From the beginning, I could not stop reading this story. It has perfect timing and pacing. The storytelling and world building are perfect as well. I want to know more about the origins of her powers, just as much as she does. The descriptions used to tell of her parents' death were flawless. I could feel Scarlett's pain. The grammar has a few minor errors. This is an original story by far. It reminds me of X-men meets Avatar the Last Airbender. I am waiting for Scarlett to become a superhero. This story is written smoothly. This writer is great at storytelling. From the beginning, I wanted to know more about the journey of Scarlett. Scarlett has a character flaw. It is established that she needs to learn to control her powers. Her voice and characterization are spots on. The message of this story is to learn to control yourself. Scarlett let her powers get the better of her, and in the end, her parents were taken from her. We can all learn from the accidents in our lives. What a great message. Nice job.

2nd places (a tie again):

"Origin" by  KatyBizi

Total: 96/100

The cover/graphics are beautifully done. The blurb matches the story well. The blurb isn't too long, which is perfect. The title ties in nicely with the storyline. The plot is well written/told. I was engaged the whole time I read Origin. The narration stands out. At times, I experienced Kristy's dreams/visions right along with her. This book has almost no errors in it. This book is almost Watty ready. This story is very new, fresh, and creative. It deserves to have a movie adaptation. From the first mention of the boy with white hair, I was intrigued to know more. The writer has done a beautiful job of taking us on a new journey. The characterization is believable and clear. It's easy to tell the characters apart. The message for this story is clear from its start. Good job! You should be proud. You are going places with your writing talent.
