Chapter 1

-Tony's POV-

It's been a month since we were in the accident and since Haiden has been in the hospital. It's not the same without her, and I miss her a lot.

"Daddy, can we go see mama today?" Laela asks walking over to me.

"Yeah. Go tell Luka and get ready so that we can go princess." I say.

She nods her head and runs upstairs. I get up and grab Easton. I take him upstairs and change him into different clothes and put him in the baby bouncer so I can go get changed. Once I get changed I see Laela sitting in front of Easton and talking to him.

"We get to go see mama today. I miss her a lot. I can't wait till she wakes up from her nap so I can talk to her." She says while looking down at her hands.

Laela turned around and I see tears in her eyes.

"Oh baby." I say sadly.

She gets up and runs into my arms. I pick her up and rub her back.

"Daddy, I really miss her." She mumbles.

"I know, I miss her too." I say.

"Can we just go see her now?" She asks me sadly.

"As long as your brother is ready, then we can go." I say.

I feel her nod her head against my shoulder. I continue to rub her back to calm her down.

"Baby, I gotta set you down so i can pick up Easton." I say.

"Okay daddy." She says quietly.

I set her down, but stay down at her level.

"You gotta be strong for mama. She'll wake up soon baby." I say.

"Okay daddy." She says.

I kiss her cheek and she runs off. I stand up and go over to Easton. I pick him up and he has a small smile on his face.

"I'm gonna take that smile as a 'I'm ready to go see mama.'" I say kissing his cheek.

I take him downstairs and see the twins waiting by the door.

"Alright, let's go." I say.

They nod their heads and Laela opens the door. They go outside and I shut the door and lock it before going out to the car.

"Daddy look! I buckled myself in!" Laela says excitedly.

I look and see she had in fact buckled herself in.

"Good job baby." I say kissing her forehead.

I put Easton in his carseat and help Luka with his carseat. I go sit up in the driver's seat and start the car before heading to the hospital. Once we make it there, I decide to get the stroller out and get it set up for Easton.

"Can I push Easton?" Luka asks.

"If you really want to buddy." I say.

He smiles and starts to push Easton. We walk inside and I tell the person at the front desk who we're visiting.

We make it to her room and Luka pushes the stroller to be next to Haiden. I sit down next to her and grab her hand.

"Hi baby. God I hope you wake up soon. We miss you a lot. I miss being able to hold you, talk to you, and kiss you. I love you so much." I say quietly.

I lean down and kiss her forehead. I run my hand through her hair while Laela comes to stand next to me. I pick her up and set her on my lap.

"Hi mama. I really miss you. Please wake up." She says.

I hear her start to cry and she wraps her arms around me. I rub her back as she lays her head on my shoulder.

"I know baby. Remember, you gotta stay strong for her." I say.

She nods her head and sits up to wipe her eyes. She climbs off of my lap and goes over by Easton.

"I love you mama and I miss you." Luka says.

After spending an hour with Haiden, we decide to go home.

When we make it home, I take Easton upstairs and lay him down in his crib for a nap.

"Kouvr said she was gonna bring something for us today." I say once I get downstairs.

"Really?" Luka asks.

"Yep. And she'll be here in a little bit." I say.

"Do you know what it is?" Laela asks.

"Nope, but we'll figure it out when she brings it." I say.

"Can we go outside daddy?" Luka asks.

"Sure. Just give me a second and we can go outside." I say.

They nod their head and I go to put some sneakers on. I take them outside and they immediately run to the trampoline. I sigh as I look down at my hands wishing I could be holding Haiden's right now.

"Damnit, baby I miss you so much. Please wake up, I don't know how much longer I can take it not being here with you. I need you." I say quietly as tears form in my eyes.

"Daddy?" Laela asks coming up to me.

I try to wipe my eyes so she doesn't see I was crying.

"Yeah baby?" I ask.

"I know you were crying. Is it cause you miss mama?" She asks.

"Yeah, it is baby." I say pulling her onto my lap.

She puts a hand on either side of my face and looks me right in the eyes.

"Remember, you have to stay strong for mama." She says.

"Okay Laela, I will." I say kiss her cheek and she climbs off of my lap before running back to the trampoline.

I have the best family, I just need my girl awake and here with me.
