Chapter 9

"So, what are gonna do today?" Tony asks me while wrapping his arms around my waist.

"I was gonna ask Charli, Addison, Avani, Dixie, and Mia to be my bridesmaids today and then go get their bridesmaid dresses picked out and ready." I say.

"Sounds like fun. That reminds me, I gotta ask some of the boys to be my groomsmen. Ondre already knows he's my best man." He says.

"Okay. I'm taking Laela with me as well so she can get a dress as well." I say.

"Speaking of Laela." Tony says as she runs up to us.

"Mama! Let's go." She says.

"Alright." I say giving her a smile.

Tony picks her up and kisses her cheek.

"Bye my little flower girl." He says.

"Bye daddy." She says before he sets her down.

I go outside to the car and make sure Laela is completely buckled in before going to sit up front to buckle myself and then start the car.

Once we make it to the Hype House, I help Laela get out and then we go up to the front door.

"Hey Haiden and Laela. Come in." Thomas says through the Ring doorbell.

I open the door and go inside with Laela in my arms. I hear someone running down the stairs and see Thomas.

"Hey little sis. Hi Laela." Thomas says giving me a hug before taking Laela out of my arms.

I hear someone gasp and turn to see Ondreaz.

"I was about to go see Tony, but my best friend is here!" He says happily.

"Uncle Dre!" Laela exclaims.

Thomas sets her down before she runs over to Ondreaz who picks her up.

"So, why are you guys here?" Thomas asks.

"Wedding stuff." I say and he nods his head.

"Alright. Well, everyone is upstairs." He says.

"Okay. Laela, let's go upstairs. Ondre, is anyone else going with you?" I ask.

"Yeah, Thomas, Alex, Jack, James (Wright), and Xavier (he's in town until the wedding) are." Ondreaz says.

"Okay. Bye guys." I say waving to them and Laela does as well before they wave back and leave.

The other four that are going leave as well before we go upstairs. I see the five people I was looking for and go up to them.

"Hey Haiden." They say.

"Hi." I say.

"What about me?" Laela asks.

"Hi Laela." They say smiling at her.

"Hi!" She says smiling back.

"So, I have a question to ask you five." I say.

"Okay. You wanna go down to me and Thomas's room?" Mia asks.

"Yeah." I say.

"Mama, can I stay up here with Calvin and Paper?" Laela asks.

"Sure. Be careful princess." I say.

"Okay mama." She says before running over to them.

We go down to Mia and Thomas' room and we all sit in different parts in the room. Mia, Dixie and I sit on the bed while Charli, Avani, and Addison go sit on the couch.
