Chapter 3

-Tony's POV-

This morning I had woken up with this feeling like something big was gonna happen. Then the thought hit me about what Ondreaz had said the previous day. I waited a little until noon to make sure he was awake before pulling out my phone and texting him.

Me: you know how you had that feeling yesterday that everything would be fine?

Ondreaz: yeah...

Me: I had a feeling that something big was gonna happen today

Ondreaz: you think Haiden's gonna wake up?

Me: yeah, I think she is. Meet us at the hospital by 1

Ondreaz: okay

I turn off my phone and put it in my pocket.

"You guys ready?" I ask the twins.

"Yeah." They both respond back.

"Alright, we're gonna go right now and Uncle Dre will meet us there in a hour." I say.

They nod their heads and I go to grab Easton before going out to the car.

"Daddy, I did it by myself too!" Luka exclaims.

I see he had also learned how to buckle himself in the carseat. I check the twins to make sure they're secured.

"Good job Luka. I'm proud of you guys and how much you learn so quickly." I say smiling at them.

They smile back at me and then I put Easton in his carseat before sitting up front.

We eventually arrive at the hospital and they let us go to Haiden's room. We arrive in her room and see her still asleep making my hope of her waking up today, slightly go down. I go sit by her while Laela and Luka sit on the other side with Easton in the stroller.

"Hey mamas, I miss you so much. I got this feeling though that you'll wake up today. Ondre had the feeling too and he's gonna be here in like an hour. Just know, I love you so much." I say leaning down to kiss her forehead.

"I love you too bubba." I hear her say.

My eyes go wide as I look down at her and see her with eyes open and a smile on her face.

"Haiden! Omg, I've missed you so much." I say leaning down to kiss her.

"I would say the same, but I didn't really know anything that was happening." She says looking down, "It really didn't feel much different than sleeping at night."

"It's okay mamas, I'm just so glad you're awake. Quick question, did you wake up before this?" I ask.

"Yeah. I woke up earlier this morning and they said I could leave whenever I want to and after I sign the discharge papers." She says.

"Alright, should we prank Ondre?" I ask.

"You read my mind. Is he gonna text when he gets here?" She asks.

"Yeah, he usually does." I say and right as I say that, I get text from Ondreaz saying he has arrived.

"Was that him?" She asks.

"Yeah." I say.

"Alright, guys, mama's gonna get Uncle Dre and make him think I'm still asleep. Can you keep it a secret?" She asks the twins.

They nod their heads and she closes her eyes again. A little bit later, Ondreaz makes it into the room with a sad look on his face.

"Still not awake?" He asks sitting down next to me.

"No. Maybe that feeling we had was wrong after all." I say sadly.

"Man, I'm sorry bro." He says wrapping his arm around my shoulder.

"I guess it's still early though and she could still wake up." I say sounding a little hopeful.

"Yeah. God Haiden, please wake up, we all need you." He says.

"Okay." Haiden says opening her eyes.

"Holy- Haiden!" Ondreaz says happily.

"Hi Ondre." She says smiling at him.

He leans over to give her a hug with a smile on his face. He sits back up still smiling.

"Can one of you guys get a nurse to bring me the discharge papers?" She asks.

"Yeah, I'll go get one." Ondreaz says before leaving the room.

"You ready to go home today?" I ask.

"Yeah. I can't wait to spend time with all of you again." She says smiling at all of us.

As soon as she says that, Ondreaz comes in with a nurse.

"I know we said you could go home as soon as you sign the discharge papers, but the doctor decided he wanted to run a couple more tests on you which might take a couple hours." She says with a dad look on her face.

"Oh, okay." Haiden says sadly.

"The doctor will be in shortly to run the tests and again, I'm sorry about this." She says before leaving.

"Ondre, I'm gonna stay with Haiden, but can you take the kids to the Hype House for now? And whenever we're done here, we'll come by and pick up the kids." I say.

"Yeah. Alright you three, it's time to go." Ondreaz says going over to grab the stroller and then leave with the kids.

"You ready for these tests baby?" I ask.

"Not really. As long as I have you here with me, I'm going to be fine." She says smiling at me.

I lean down to kiss her with a smile on my face.

"God, I missed being able to do this." I say before kissing her again.

I pull away before the doctor walks back in.

"I love you bubba." She says grabbing my hand.

"I love you too baby." I say smiling down at her.
