Chapter 23

"Today's the day dad and Talon are moving into their house here." I say while handing the twins their plates of food.

"Okay. Are we going to help them move?" Tony asks while sitting down with his plate.

"Yeah. The twins can play with Easton and Talon while we help dad." I say sitting down with my food.

"Okay. What time are we leaving?" He asks before taking a bite of food.

"Um, he said from around 11-5 would be the best time to move the stuff into the house." I say.

"Alright. Well it's 9:57 right now, you wanna leave by 10:45?" He asks.

"Yeah. Kids, we're going to your grandpa's house today, so when you finish breakfast, go upstairs and pick out something to wear." I say and the twins nod their heads.

The twins finish breakfast and put their plates by the sink before running upstairs to get their outfits ready. Tony and I finish breakfast not long after them, and we clean up the plates and silverware before we go check on the twins. The twins were all dressed and were about to head downstairs once we got in their room.

"Go wait for us downstairs. Or if you want, you can choose an outfit for Easton to wear and then go downstairs." Tony says.

"Luka, wanna help me get an outfit for Easton?" Laela asks.

"Sure." He says before they go over to Easton's room.

Tony and I head into our room and get our outfits ready. I grab a red cropped tank top and some black shorts and put them on before putting on a pair of black checkered sneakers. I grab my phone and put it in my pocket before going downstairs and grabbing Easton. I take him upstairs and change him before putting the outfit the twins had picked out, on him. I go downstairs while holding Easton and then sit down with him on my lap. I grab a rattle toy from next to me and hold it in my hand and shake it for Easton. He reaches for it with a smile on his face. I grin and kiss his cheek.

Bye 10:45, we're out in the car and head to my dad's house. We get there by 11:05, and get out of the car before heading up to the front door. I knock and dad opens the door with a smile.

"Hi guys. Talon's upstairs in his room and is on his phone. I set up a gate in his room at the doorway so Easton can't crawl out." Dad says while letting us in.

"Okay. You two, follow your grandpa." I say while handing Easton to dad.

The twins go upstairs with dad while Tony and I wait downstairs for him to come back.

"Mamas, smile." Tony says while holding up his phone.

I smile and he takes a picture before captioning it 'my best friend and world❤ love you Haiden' and then posts it on his Snapchat story. I then take a picture of Tony while he's in the middle of posting the picture and caption it 'he's the cutest🥺 love you Tony, to the moon and back' before I post it on my Snapchat story.

I see a notification pop up on his phone and see him click on it. He smiles as he sees what I posted on Snapchat before kissing me.

"You two ready to start moving stuff?" Dad asks while coming downstairs.

Tony looks down to hide his red face and I nod.

"Alright, let's go outside to the truck." He says opening the front door.

We follow him outside and to the truck. A mover opens the truck door and pulls out a ramp. We climb inside and I grab a couple boxes while Tony and dad grab the couch.

We take the stuff inside and set it down before going back outside and grabbing more things.

By the time we finish moving everything inside and putting it where dad wanted it to be, it's 5:15.

"Alright dad, I think it's time for us to go." I say.

"Okay." He says before giving me a hug.

I go upstairs and find Talon's room. I go inside and the twins come over to me.

"Are we going now mama?" Luka asks.

"Yeah baby. Bye Tal." I say giving him a hug.

"Bye Haiden." He says.

I grab Easton and then go back downstairs with the twins following me. Tony was already out in the car, so the twins say bye to dad before going outside with me. I put Easton in his carseat and then sit up front and put my seat belt on.

-later that night-

"Bubba, can you get me some fries too?" I ask Tony.

"Yeah, but why?" Tony asks.

"So I can eat them with my Frosty, duh." I say.

"What the fuck?" He asks genuinely confused.

"Yeah. You can't go wrong with a Frosty and fries. You can try some if you want too." I suggest.

"Um, okay." He says.

"Okay. I'll put the kids to bed while you're gone." I say and he nods his head.

He kisses my cheek and then leaves. I go upstairs and open the twins door and see them in their beds already. I kiss both of their foreheads and say goodnight before going to Easton's room.

"Goodnight baby." I say kissing his forehead.

I cover him in a blanket and then leave his room and go downstairs, just at the right time, because Tony was coming inside with Wendy's.

"Yay, food!" I say excitedly making him laugh as he brings the food over to the table.

I sit down with my Frosty and fries and take the lid off before dipping a fry in it. I eat the fry and smile.

"Damn, this is so good." I say while taking another fry.

"Let me try one." Tony says while holding out his hand.

I dip a fry into the Frosty and hand it to him. He tries it and his eyes widen.

"Wait, why is this so good?" He questions.

"See what I mean." I say with a laugh.

We finish our food and then throw away our trash before going over to the couch. Tony wraps his arm around my shoulders and pulls me closer to him.

"Love you mamas." He says before kissing my forehead.

"Love you too bubba." I say.
