Chapter 7

"Ondre said he would take care of Easton tomorrow while the twins are at school." Tony says wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Okay. So that means we're gonna finish what we started yesterday?" I ask.

"Yep." He says kissing my cheek.

"Anyways, my dad and brother are coming here today." I say.

"Sounds like fun. Too bad the twins will miss out on most of the day." He says.

"Yeah." I say.

I suddenly hear a knock on the door so I get up to answer it. I open the door and see my dad and brother there. I let them in and my dad gives me a hug.

"Hi Haiden." He says before pulling away.

"Hi dad." I say smiling at him.

"Haiden!" Talon says giving me a hug.

"Hey Talon." I say hugging him back.

I let go of him and we go over to sit on the couch.

"So, what are we going to do today?" Talon asks.

"I say we go to the mall and watch a movie and then go to the Hype House. When the twins are done with school, we'll go to the beach." I say.

"Sweet!" Talon says smiling.

"Alright, we're all ready so let's go." I say.

Tony grabs Easton and we all head out to the car. I put Easton in the carseat while Tony gets up front and starts the car. Dad had offered to sit in the back with Talon and Easton so I could sit up front with Tony. I put my seatbelt on and Tony grabs my hand before driving off.

We make it to the mall and go to the movie. Once the movie is over we go down to the mall and spend around 2 hours shopping.

I pull my dad off to the side while Tony takes Talon and Easton to get food.

"Dad, I know Talon doesn't have a fun yet, but I wanna get him a phone so we can keep in contact." I say.

"I think that's a good idea." He says.

"Okay, well let's go eat and then we'll go take him to get a phone." I say.

"Sounds like a plan." He says.

We go over to where the other three were seated with food and sit down with them.

"Here's your food mamas." Tony says handing me the food.

"Thanks bubba." I say kissing his cheek before eating the food.

Once we finish our food, Tony throws all the trash away and I give Easton a bottle.

"Talon, dad and I have a surprise for you. You gotta follow us once Easton is done with his bottle." I say and he nods his head.

When Easton finishes, we get up and take Talon to the Apple store.

"Talon, go pick out any phone you want and I'll get it for you." I say smiling at him.

"Wait, really?" He asks.

"Yeah." I say.

"Thank you! You're the best sister and dad ever." He says hugging both of us.

He goes to look at the phones and dad follows him.

"You're a really good sister." Tony says.

"Thanks. Honestly, I would do anything for that kid." I say

Tony wraps his arm around my shoulder and kisses my cheek before we walk over to where Talon and dad were.

"Can I get this one Haiden?" Talon asks pointing to the iPhone 11.

"Yeah." I say.

"Dad, is it okay with you if I get it?" Talon asks looking up at dad.

"Uh, sure. Yes, it's fine." He says kinda unsure.

"Alright, let's get it then." I say.

I go to find an employee and tell them I want to buy a phone.

Once we get the phone, Talon hugs me again and we head out to the car. We go home so Talon and dad can be in their car so we can meet at the beach. Tony drives off to the twins' school and once we get there, we pull into the pick up line and they get into the car.

We go back home so we could change into swimsuits and grab everything we need. Once we're all changed and have everything, we all get back in the car and then drive off to the beach.

We make it to the beach and see dad and Talon there already. We get out and they help us carry our stuff. We find a spot and set up everything before putting floaties on the twins and sunscreen on all the kids.

"Hey, I'll take the twins and Talon so you guys can stay here with Easton." Dad says.

"Alright, thanks dad." I say.

"No problem." He says before taking those three out to the water.

I put Easton in the beach tent before going to lay next to Tony. He wraps an arm around my waist as he turns to face me. He leans closer and kisses me.

"This has been a good day." He says.

"It really has." I say.

"I think that's Tony Lopez and Haiden Johnson." Someone says attempting to whisper but not reaching the quietness for it to be whispering.

I look up at them and smile and wave (smile and wave boys, smile and wave). The two girls standing there wave back.

"Um, sorry to intrude, but can we get a picture with you guys?" One asks.

I look at Tony and he nods.

"Yeah, sure." I say.

We stand up and go over to them. We take the pictures and they hug us before saying goodbye and leaving. We lay back down on the sheet we have set up. I rest my head on his shoulder and close my eyes.

"Mama, we got ice cream!" Laela yells.

Well, that peace was short lived...

The twins hand us each some ice cream before sitting down to eat their's.

"I say we let Easton try some." I say.

Tony nods his head in agreement and goes to grab Easton. He brings him back to where we was just sitting. He holds the ice cream in front Easton. Easton leans forward and tries the ice cream. Once Tony pulls it away, Easton tries to reach for it making us laugh.

"Looks like he loves it." I say.

"Definitely." Tony says.

"It's been such a good day." I say.

"It has." Tony says.

"Every part except school was fun." Luka says.

"I thought you liked school." I say.

"Yeah, but I haven't made any friends yet." He says sadly.

"Aww, I'm sorry baby." I say looking at him with a sad expression.

"Hey Luka, I promise it's normal to not make friends within the first two days of school. Your mama didn't make friends for a couple days either. Just like you, she was shy, but in the end, she made good friends and so will you. In fact, one of her first friends she made was your dad." Dad says.

"Wait, really?" Luka asks.

"Yeah. I have a feeling you'll be a lot more like your mama than you are right now." Dad says.

"I do too." I say.

I lean my head on Tony's shoulder who's still trying to keep the ice cream from Easton.

"I love you." I say to him.

"I love you too." He says.
