ENTRY 4

Dear diary,

Today is Monday, i have not been able to write here because I had been busy with preparations for school.
I'm currently in school now though and I'm so excited.

I got my admission late last year but I didnt resume with everyone else. My parents told me to just wait till January so yeah.

I wanted a university far from home, so I went for Unilag.
Abuja is a very boring place tbh and besides I had always wanted to stay in Lagos.

And now I would be... yayy!!

Unilag is a really big university, it would take me a while to get used to it. I dont even know where my Faculty is.

My parents had paid for my private hostel which has a nice view, it is quite expensive if you ask me.

I'm Im supposed to have a roommate but she hasn't resumed yet. Her things her here though, so she's probably yet to resume this year.

The room has two sides, and it was obvious which side was mine. I unpacked all my things except my foodstuff because I didnt know where to put them. I'll do that when she resumes ;I really do hope she's nice.

About my crush, things escalated quickly;

Last night i got bored out of my mind.
I was on Instagram and the urge to send her a DM came out of know where .
Before I knew it, I had sent her an"hi" and all I kept saying was 'oh my God' 'oh my God'.
I'm not on the confident side, so me doing that was really scary.

She replied some minutes later and I'm not going lie I squealed! I'm sure people in the next room thought something was wrong with me.
I was just surprised she had actually replied.

At first,it was awkward because I didn't know what to say. Sigh I hate myself for that.
But things started looking up for me, I think she sensed my awkwardness idk
But she instantly took over the conversation.
She was probably bored too haha...

I got some basic information about her;
Her name is Claudia,
She's 19 and,
She's a model.

As we chatted, all i felt was excitement all over my body and I couldn't stop smiling.
I wanted to ask her lots and lots of questions but I was too shy and I didn't want to pry.
Omg!!I can't believe I actually chatted her up.

We called it a night by 11pm and i fell asleep thinking of her, Cringy I know sue me.

We didn't talk much today though, She said she was busy with school. Today is Monday so thats understandable .

But she didn't come online this evening, how did I know? Well I had been reading through our messages last night smiling and cursing at myself for my stupid replies.
But sadly she didn't come back online:(

I hope we'll still get to talk.

Tomorrow, I would try to find my faculty to get myself registered.
I need to start writing the notes I have missed. I dont really know anyone here, i guess I'll have to ask people around for directions.

I have to go to bed now, I have a long day ahead of me.
