Eleanor's p.o.v
*1 week before Christmas*
"We need a Christmas tradition, just for us." Chris was laying on the bed watching me wrap presents while I sat on the floor. Between our two families, we had to get a lot of gifts which meant a ton of wrapping much to my chagrin. It wasn't that I didn't like wrapping gifts, it was just that I wasn't particularly good at it.
"What did you have in mind?" He thought on it for a moment, being sure that he made a funny face at me so I'd laugh.
"I don't know, do you have something that you did with your family we could bring into ours? Or is there something that you just love about Christmas?" I gasped and sat up straight, looking at Chris with a large grin. "Uh oh, what's that look?"
"Lights! I love the Christmas lights, and being in a big city there are probably lots of shows and stuff! That could be our tradition, going to light shows, or even just driving around and looking at houses that have lights on them." Chris smiled at how passionate I was about the subject, getting up from his spot to walk towards me. Once he'd reached me, he lifted me from the ground and pulled me into a hug.
"I love that idea doll. It's something we can do with our kids when they come along too, which makes it that much better." I nodded vigorously, but stopped when I realized there were some details we needed to hammer out.
"When are we going to do it? I mean, we don't have to do it here, we can do it in Boston if you want, it's more Christmasy there anyways. Then we can do it on Christmas Eve! But if you want to do it here..."
"Doing it in Boston sounds great." Chris pulled away from me for just a moment to grab something out of his bedside table, then came back over to me with a mischievous grin. Before I could ask what was going on, he pulled mistletoe out from behind his back and dangled it over our heads. "You wouldn't break tradition, would you?"
"You'll be the death of me Christopher Robert Evans, I swear you will be." I giggled slightly, meeting our lips in a sweet kiss. He made a move to deepen it, but I had something I wanted to show him first, so I detached from him. "Before this goes where I know it most certainly will, I want to show you something."
I pulled out matching Disney Christmas sweaters from a bag sitting in the corner and held them up for him to see. As soon as he realized what they were he began to laugh, boob grab, squinty eyes, and all. I gave him a sheepish smile, holding mine up to my chest.
"What? You don't like it?" Chris grabbed his from my other hand to hold it up to his muscular frame.
"No doll, I love it! These are amazing." His smile never faded as he used his other hand to pull me in by the waist. "Now we have something to wear to look at Christmas lights."
He locked us in another kiss, grabbing my jumper from my hand to throw them onto the dresser so we could focus more on each other, the kiss leading to exactly where I stopped it from going earlier.
