Part 2

Sal's POV
After I walked into the elevator, I decided to go on the fifth floor because why not.

When the doors opened, I was ready to walk out, until I saw someone right in front of me.
I froze, since they kinda startled me, but to be honest, I think they're more startled than me, maybe even scared.

They're eye/c eyes showed some fear, as if they saw a murder in front of their own eyes.
I know that feeling for sure..

"Sorry, I'm in your way." I say as I moved aside.
They just stood there.
"Hey, are you alright?" They rubbed their eyes and sighed.

"S-sorry about that. I saw some stuff and it wasn't too pretty." They say, as I nod.
"I'm sorry to hear that." I rubbed my neck.

"I'll get out of your way." They say as they moved away from the elevator door. I glanced at them before walking out of the elevator, seeing how they still looked a bit scared.
They did say that they saw something that made them feel and look that way, but there was more to it, well maybe.

They walked inside the elevator, looking at me one last time before the doors closed.

I stood there with great confusion.
I'm sure they live here, since I haven't met everyone here yet, but why did they look so afraid, and nervous the whole time I was there?

Maybe it was my mask.

God, why must this mask make people make fun of me, or even make people run away.

I guess that question will never be answered.

Y/n's POV
Damn it! I didn't mean to look so afraid, but he saw me! He's gonna find out that I don't live here and then he's gonna find out that I'm actually not even from here!
God this is frustrating and even scary!

The tension I'm feeling in my head only worsened since I remember that there's multiple people here.

The elevator doors then opened, revealing Sally face. "I-is it alright if I just take the elevator with you? I just saw something and i-it wasn't too pleasant." He said, panicking a bit.

Damn, that was quick.

Too quick.

"Oh, um.. Sure!"

I stepped to the side, and let him enter the elevator.
The heel of my shoe tapped on the ground as I anxiously waited for him to say something since I know he'll ask a question.

"Which floor do you live on?"

Oh.

Oh now I'm truly screwed.

What was I supposed to tell him though?!

I actually don't live here, I was playing a game, specifically a game about you, until the computer decided to suck me into the game!

No.

I stared at my feet, thinking of a random room.

Damn, I'm sure all the rooms here are taken.
Maybe I could say I'm visiting family.

No, that wouldn't add up with me being on this creepy floor... Unless..?

"Oh, u-um.. I was actually leaving from this apartment since I was visiting my family. One of my cousins dared me to come up here which is why I you found me here so.. Obviously it was a very poor, and regrettable choice, so..yeeaah.."

Oh my god that's unbelievable-

I'm done for.

"Oh, I completely understand." He spoke.

"I had a few " Friends" From my last school dare me to go to the janitors closet and sit for five minutes. I did, since I really wasn't thinking when I did it, and they ended up leaving me in there for the rest of the school day, which was about 2 hours." He continues.
"I instantly regretted it, and felt embarrassed for even considering it. In the end, they laughed at me, and made fun of me for even listening to them."

I looked at him, feeling awful for the guy.
To think I made something up to make it sound real, and he ends up telling me that he got bullied because of a dare that went wrong due to jerks being jerks.

Why must people be such assholes?

"Well, people like those dicks are just people that you gotta rub off the shoulder, since dealing with them is not worth your time at all, just like how it's not worth their time to be treating you, and possibly others, the way they treated you." I gave him a soft smile.

"Though, you can always just punch them in the face." I heard a snicker come from him.

"Yeah, true."

He looked at me, and his mask moved a little— he's smiling.

"What's your name?" I ask.
Yes, I already knew his name, but I'm only trying to be nice.

"Sal, Sal Fisher."

Huh, maybe that's one out of the very few reasons why he's called Sally face.

"Nice to meet you Sal, I'm y/n, y/n l/n."

We stared at each other for a second, which kinda felt like ages, until he looks to his right.
"Oh, we haven't pressed a button yet."
He said, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Well, I'm not in a rush to go home so.. How about I walk around with you?" I ask.

He nods. "That would be great actually."
"Well, choose a floor to go to then." I smile.

What did I just get myself into...?
