I could see my brother walking in a blizzard. He was alone, and the ice below him cracked as he fell underneath. He was trapped in a cave with only one way out. A dragon came out of nowhere, it was icy blue and appeared to have trapped him against the wall. He looks so afraid and feels so lonely.

"Zane?" I ask, my voice echoing through the cave and his fear became more erratic. Pixal's voice came in later and woke him up out of his dream with the help of falcon.

My eyes flutter open slowly, taking in the surroundings of my room. Chen's island, right. At least Zane is somewhat still alive, and I hope that Pixal is his silver lining right now. He could use a guardian angel while I'm busy trying to find him.

There was this feeling of warmth that swarmed around my body. It was safe, and I felt protected as long as I stayed. I glanced down and saw arms wrapped around me. I didn't think of it at first and tried to go back to sleep. But my eyes widened and I turned my head to see Lloyd spooning me.

I'd be lying if I said there wasn't a hint of blush that hit my cheeks. Damn, betrayed by my own emotions. I began trying to break from his hold, that just woke him up. He retrieved his arms and leg that was coiled with mine and turned around. I sat up in my bed and turned to watch him. He stayed asleep for a few more beats before sitting up as well. I retracted any emotions I was feeling, including the butterflies in my stomach before he faced me.

"Rise and shine, blondie." I greeted him while tossing my pillow at his head. He caught it before impact and narrowed his gaze on me.

"How long have you been up? Do you know who's fighting today?" He yawned while rubbing the sleep from his eyes. I shook my head while standing.

"No, I just woke up too." I replied while going over to my armoire to retrieve my tournament outfit. Lloyd got out of bed too and gave me a quick hug from behind.

"I'll see you downstairs for breakfast?" He asked, his voice muffled from his exhaustion. I hummed and nodded before he let me go and went back to his room to change. As soon as the door closed I let out a huge exhale while staring at my reflection in the mirror.

"Holy shit. Today is gonna be crazy." I murmured to the mirror before leaving to the bathroom to get changed.

I came out with my hair in a half-up bun half-down style, black leather shorts that had a holster and pockets, and the thick cotton zip up top I was fancying over last night. It was an indigo color with no sleeves and had a slight turtle neck. It was also cropped and very fitting. How does Chen even know my body size? This fits like a fucking glove and now I'm getting concerned. I put on my black leather gloves while taking a look in the mirror. Hmm, if Chen wanted someone to look at, he certainly got one. I took one last look in the mirror, brushing off any dirt or gross beads of sweat off my face, played with my necklaces again, and finally left my room. I didn't notice Cole's blush and flustered expression when I went downstairs to join Lloyd. Okay, maybe I did notice it but I'm going to ignore it!

We all grabbed a tray, and our main course for the day was rice with some spicy sauce in a bowl. Our drink choice being either juice or coffee. Me being the loyal tea drinker I am, I chose the juice. I just don't like coffee.
