I waved my hand over the weapons laid out on the table. There were so many different types of weapons with distances and power and use. But Jack said that only one will be my forever weapon that stays with me, but it has to chose me. I wave my hand over the bow and arrow, nothing. I move my hand over the shurikens, nada. I hover over the swords and throwing knives, zilch. I sigh as I began to lose hope, until a certain weapon caught my eye. It looked like a bracelet with its silver shine and snake like design. I hover my hands over it and the bracelet comes to life and slithers onto my right wrist. Then another weapon like it but was made of vines slithered onto my left wrist. I furrowed my brows and turned my gaze to Jack. He looked just as confused as me.

"That's strange..." he commented. I tilted my head as I grazed my hand over the bracelets.

"What's strange?" I asked him while looking back down at the bracelets on my wrists. He walked over to me to get a closer look.

"Usually the whips are very very picky with their warriors. Yet both of them want to be with you, forever. It's very rare for a pixie to have a whip as their main weapon." He explains. I brushed my fingers against the bracelets.

"They're whips?" I ask while moving the bracelets to fit my wrist comfortably.

"Yeah, but they both have different strengths and weaknesses. Like your vine whip isn't very effective in battle or combat, but for a quick getaway or save it'll get the job done better than this one. The snake whip can't reach as far as the vine, but since its metallic its heavier which makes it more useful in combat. So you have the perfect balance of the two." He explains while picking up the wrist with the whip he was talking about. I nodded.

"And, they will stay with me forever?" I repeated his words while raising a curious brow.

"Correct, but you are allowed to pick an extra two or three weapons as gifts from our mother and I to aid in your journey. But do chose wisely." He warns. I turn back to the table of weapons. I grabbed a couple throwing knives and attached the portable carrier to hold them to my thigh under my shorts. I also took two sai's and hide them in my knee high boots. Apparently there was a little slot in my shoes anyways to hold weapons there. Wow, that's so smart! I need me more pairs of shoes like these!

"Interesting choices." Jack commented.

"I think they'll be useful in battle and the opponent would never know. Plus, I'll probably automatically get a sword to carry on my back with me or something, so I didn't pick any swords." I explained why I picked my choices. He nodded.

"Are you ready to begin your training? We'll be doing spells first." He explained while walking back. I raised one brow.

"Why spells first? Is it so that we can then work spells into physical combat?" I asked while crossing my arms. He chuckled while walking over to the podium with the spellbook on it.

"You sure are a smart one, sister. You must master spells before you can master any martial art thrown at you, so you can fight smarter not harder. Brains is just as important as brawns." He explained while flipping the pages in the book. I nodded.
