The Day Ninjago Stood Still

The snakes have overthrown Garmadon as their leader. The Great Devourer's venom woke up the big stone warrior. Garmadon found the dark island. The ninja and Grace beat the giant stone warrior. They also celebrated her birthday afterwards. Wu gave Grace and the ninja a taste of a normal teenage life. What she didn't know, was also a set up to get Cole and Grace together. Cole and Grace got closer. She also learned something about her past from a mysterious old enemy, but new friend.

Lloyd and I had to wake up early the next day to train with the ninja. They were already up and Lloyd had to come in to wake me up.

"C'mon Grace! We gotta train!" He exclaims while rolling me back and forth like a sushi roll. I groaned, not wanting to get up.
"I'll make Cole come in and wake you up!" He teased while chuckling. I grabbed my pillow and smacked his face with it.

"You're evil..." I muttered while sitting up and opening my eyes. He just chuckled and grinned.

"Only to you, now come on! We finally get to train together this time!" He said excitedly. My eyes widened and I became happy all of the sudden. I finally get to train with my best friend!! Yes!! I hopped out of bed and checked my closet on what to wear. I shrugged and snapped on a tang top, leggings, knee high boots, and a leather jacket. I looked in the mirror at my hair and brushed it. I'll leave it down from now on. It looks better this way... When I was done getting ready I took a look at the gifts Lloyd and Cole got me for my birthday. So sweet. I walked out smiling and excited to train with Lloyd for once.

"Put these on." Kai said to me as I walked into Dareth's dojo. I saw Lloyd giving a confused stare as well. We both shrugged and did what was told of us. We met in the middle and stood back to back.

"Don't rely on your eyes. Use your ears." Cole said as they all lifted their weapons to prepare to attack. Lloyd and I locked arms, ready to defend ourselves. A lesson on fighting with your ears? Pff, piece of cake!

"Uh, guys, I'm teaching a class later, so I'd appreciate a clean dojo." Dareth said as I heard the ninja closing in on us. When I heard them move their weapons, I hoisted Lloyd up into the air to dodge as I rolled away from them. I quickly got up and grabbed one of my swords. Lloyd was fighting off Kai because its sounded like swords. I heard Jay's nunchucks coming at me so I let them wrap around my sword and pulled hard. I heard scream and fall to his knees.

I quickly met up with Lloyd by giving him a secret code so he knew it was me. He had Cole's scythe in hand, he put it up and swung around it. Kicking the ninja around him. I helped him out by sneaking behind them and kicking them towards Lloyd's flying foot. When he was done I heard a grunt and then Lloyd threw me up and I kicked Jay back. Hitting the trophy case, i assume. Lloyd must've kicked Jay out because i heard him scream and land outside. I continued fighting off the others as he was getting up. I heard flames nearby, must be Lloyd. The others began trying to attack us again but Lloyd used his flames against them and I used my whip to bring them in and land a hit.

"Hey! Open the window! Let me in!" Jay screamed from outside. Lloyd and I continued fighting together against them. We used each other's strengths and weaknesses against them. I was getting ready to attack one of them. When we felt a rumble from the ground. I lost my balance a bit and grabbed the ninja I was gonna attack.
