"How was that story for today, class?" I asked my students while putting a book down on my desk. They all were in awe and cooed.

"Wow! That's amazing! You really defeated the Overlord?" A little boy asks me. I giggled and stood up to walk in front of my desk.

"Yes, yes I did, Johnny. But not alone, I had my best friend with me." I answered his question. A girl cooed which turned my attention to her. It was a tiny red-head with glasses.
"What's got you all giddy, Cassandra?" I asked her while raising my brows and smirking. She giggled.

"Is the golden ninja your boyfriend?" She asks with light in her eyes. The other girls in the class nodded their head to agree with her question. Their laser gazes urging for an answer. I crossed my arms and chuckle.

"Sorry to disappoint you all, but no. I am actually with someone else." I answered them with a teasing grin. All the girls gasped and cheered. The boys rolled their eyes and grinned.

"We already know its Mr. Cole, Miss Grace. He can't keep his eyes off of you." A boy with braces in the way back comments. I nodded and chuckled again.

"You are correct, Will. Very observant of you." I agreed while teasing him. The class cooed and started chuckling.

"She got you there, Will!" Cassandra says to him. I smiled and leaned on my desk.

"Would you guys like to hear another story?" I asked them while leaning back. They all nodded and had wonder in their eyes.

"Yes!"

"Please!"

"Your stories are the best, Miss Grace!" A little girl said from the back of the class.

"Why thank you guys, but don't the other teachers tell you guys the same stories?" I asked while sitting on my desk and gesturing to the door.

"They do, but they never tell it as good as you do Miss Grace." Johnny says and everyone nodded in agreement.

"Yeah! You're everyone's favorite teacher! Uh, don't tell the other teachers please..." A little boy with blonde hair in the front said and then trailed off. I smiled and giggled.

"Why thank you guys. And don't worry, your little secret is safe with me." I promised them while sending them a wink. They all sighed in relief and then jumped for joy when the bell rang.
"Recess guys! Have fun, be good and be safe!" I exclaimed as they all went rushing out the door.

"Thank you Miss Grace!" Some of the kids replied back. When the classroom was empty I heard footsteps from outside my class.

"Hi there." Cole greeted with his arms crossed and leaning against the doorway. I smirked.

"Hello there, Mr. Cole." I teased him while gathering my papers into one pile. He came over and wrapped his arms around my waist with his head resting on my shoulder.
"What are you doing?" I asked him in a teasing way. He chuckled and kissed my cheek.
