The Void

Lloyd gave the ninja their elemental powers. Grace stayed on her home island to relax and recover. The ninja have been tracing for Pythor and Borg. Kai was captured. Grace returned to help the remaining ninja and found out about Project Arcturus. They tried stopping them from getting the rocket into space to get the weapons, but failed. Now they're in space, travelling to stop the nindroids from retrieving the golden weapons...

We had already exited the atmosphere and everything feels a lot lighter. The little compartment we were in had a small window, Jay was hogging the view. We were floating in zero gravity by now. From a small hunch, I'm assuming we made it into space. Everyone was just floating around and getting a feel of the zero gravity. Meanwhile, I had other plans like controlling where I was floating or floating at all. I waved my hands over my feet to put a silent spell on them. It's a gravity spell, which means I can walk on any surface as I please.

"Hey, how did you do that?" Kai whines while aimlessly floating into a wall. I shrugged.

"Gravity spell, and no I won't do any of you." I answered nonchalantly, turning down their request before it was even queried. I stayed on the ground where it was meant for people to walk on as the ninja were bouncing off of the walls and ceiling. Some upside down, the rest not so much. Lloyd seemed to be struggling the most in zero gravity.

"Is this the greatest thing or what?" Jay asked while back stroking midair. I snorted at his amusement. Yeah, it's pretty cool I guess. But less impressive since I already can fly.

"Where are you? We're trapped in space and you... Where did you go?" Kai asks in a confused tone that sounded like he was scolding him. I rolled my eyes. Wasn't he one of the first few to climb on?

"Guys, we're in space. I thought this is stuff only Fritz Donnegan gets to enjoy." Jay answers while walking in circles. I crossed my arms and sighed.

"Weren't you the one who refused to go to space before blasting off?" I asked Jay while walking towards him. Underneath where he was floating. He scoffed and floated down towards me.

"That was before I realized we could live exactly like Fritz Donnegan! Don't be such a fun sponge to my happiness, Grace." Jay defends himself before attacking me. I smirked and rolled my eyes. Alright, I'll let him have his fun.

"Fritz is from a comic book, dude. This is real!" Lloyd argued with him while bouncing off of the wall upside down.

"Well, you and Grace got me hooked on the character. Would you lighten up and not step on my dreams of being a real Starfarer just yet?" Jay complains while acting like a crime fighter in space. All brawn yet no brain. Fritz Donnegan doesn't work like that.

"Something I think I'm regretting." I whispered to myself as they all kept floating around in random directions. Hehe, can't relate. I'm on the ground bitches.

"We have to find a way to take control of the ship. If they get the golden weapons back to the Overlord, Ninjago doesn't stand much of a chance." Lloyd explains the plan but then is head bumped by Kai. He screamed while aimlessly floating a different direction. Kai rubbed his porcupine head and winced in pain. I just snorted at everything they did. Their lack of knowledge on how to fly is very entertaining.

"But there's no access to the rest of the ship. The only way out is through the same airlock we came in." Kai adds on, defeating the idea of the plan. I sighed. Party pooper.

"And if my memory banks serve correct, space has a way of taking one's breath away, in the negative sense." Zane explained the obvious in our predicament.
