Bright red flames licked the edge of the fire pit. My eyes wandered once again down to my hands which had not stopped shaking since the mishap. I had managed to calm down enough to stop the wild winds from whipping up makeshift furniture. My head still spun with questions. In all the chaos my sore head was enduring, one thought seemed to ring out the loudest. The daunting Circle in the middle of Luthnar. The one that I had to enter in one more day. As I began to think of the events the would follow me stepping into the Circle memories clouded my vision as I thought of how I would have to see the Nation again. They swept in like waves. Memories of my parents killing thousands of innocent people. Memories of The Nation kidnapping me and torturing me to get information about the research my parents had done about escaping. Memories of being freed. I began to feel dizzy as I fell into the seducing swirl of the past.
====================
"There's nothing else we need from her," General Kilo, the man who had greatly contributed to my seemingly endless torture. "Wipe her memory and throw her out."
A tall soldier on the other side of the metal room sharply nodded and yanked me off of the cool surgical table that I was laying on. He roughly pushed me out the door and followed after me closing the door behind him. I began to walk right knowing which way the memory wiping machine was. I mentally prepared myself for my impending doom.
"No," the soldier said catching me off guard. "This way." He said pulling me the opposite way.
"But-" I began to protest that the way to the memory wiping machine was indeed to the right as the sign to my left clearly stated but he put his hand over my mouth. Fear that he might take me into a different room and torture me more overwhelmed my body and sent chills up and down my body. He dragged me to the left while I weakly stumbled along still weak from the torture. He stopped about 10 feet away from door. And turned my shoulders so I was looking strait into his eyes.
"Korey, you are a very special person. You're different then everyone else," He said to me. "I'm not going to wipe your memory. You need to remember who you are. You're the only one who can save us."
I had no idea what he was talking about. I was about to ask how I was different from anyone else and question his sanity when he yelled," Run!" catching me off guard.
I glanced the other way and saw several more soldiers coming towards us.
"Thank-" I began to say my thanks.
"Just GO!"
I ran, while his words echoed in my head, You're the only one who can save us.
====================
As I gained my composure from the vivid memory it once again dawned on me that in one more day I would once again have to see The Nation, the buildings, the noises, the uniforms but I felt strongly confident. This time when I went to The Nation I would be unafraid. I would enter The Nation and I will find General Kilo and make him pay for the years of suffering he put me through. I had one more day. One more day until I was closer to my much needed revenge.

I changed this chapter a little bit so if you already read it when it was entitled 'One More Day' please read it over again. That chapter was kinda cruddy because the first version was deleted by accident and I rushed to remake it. Sorry about that. Thank you so much for reading my story! Remeber to vote and comment. Thanks!
