Gale Imagine for Sara

A/N: Sorry if this sucks but I didn't really know what else to write about

His POV

I looked out the hovercraft's window at District 12 where I had lived basically forever with Katniss before she got reaped for the games.

There were a lot of houses in the Victor's Village, but Katniss and Peeta were the only people other than Haymitch who actually lived in one. The hovercraft landed in front of Katniss and Peeta's house and I got out and went to the door. I knocked and when the door opened, Katniss was standing there. "How's Sara doing?"

"She's doing fine. She's just upstairs in the bedroom having some soup."

I went upstairs and saw a room with the door slightly ajar. I pushed open the door.

Sara was sitting up in the bed and slowly eating a bowl of soup. She looked up when she heard the door open and her blue green eyes met mine and she smiled. "Gale! How come you're back already?"

I smiled and made my way to the bed. "You know, if I didn't know you better, I would have thought you didn't want to see me."

"You know I wanted to see you. I just thought you weren't able to come back until next week."

"Well, they decided to let me off early when I told them you were pregnant. They let me have a week off to see you."

"Really?" Her eyes sparkled and I couldn't help but smile.

"How the baby doing?" I asked, placing my hand on her stomach. I felt a small kick against my hand.

"She's doing great. She just started kicking yesterday."

"I can see that." I reached over with the hand that wasn't on her stomach and held her hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. "I missed you so much."

I kissed her hand and she smiled. "I missed you too. Move over so I can lay down."

She moved over and I got into the bed and lay down beside her. I wrapped an arm around her and kissed her forehead. "I love you."

"I love you too."
