You can't force someone to stay.

You can't force them to see you.

You can't force them to love you.

You can't beg them.

Because if they're willing to be with you, they'll be with you. Just like what Mrs. Evero said.

You just have to be patient.

The television in the unit was on. It was already night outside and we're binge-watching this series called 'The Girl From Nowhere'. Ronnie and Fiona went grocery shopping. Well, it's still early. Not to mention that we were already running out of food.

Astrid was beside me at my left, Red was at my right. Then, Leo was at Astrid's left side. I was eating lays chips that were in a large bowl because they bought a very large one. Larger than what you would normally see in groceries. I assumed that they had groceries last time at S&R or Landers. That's why the lays were so huge.

We were already in episode 10 when Fiona and Ronnie got back to the unit. Both of them were holding two plastic bags each while I was still chewing on my lays. God, don't tell me they went over shopping again? Next time, I'll be the one doing the groceries. The budget's been broken. Again!

I stood up and placed the bowl of chips on the sofa before walking to the kitchen. My eyes were immediately pinned at the four plastic bags that were on the counter table. I took a peek and immediately closed my eyes as soon as I got a sight of that damn thing. Are they seriously testing me right now?

"Oh, we forgot to tell you that someone bought that for you," Fiona said and pointed on the plastic bag that I was still holding. It was a bag full of Malteser's!

I wanted to throw away the whole bag because I didn't want to eat another one of these anymore! The last time I ate one, it gave me a sore throat for three weeks! It was almost a month! Even though I drank water after eating one, it still gave me a sore throat.

"Well, eat it. I don't want anything to do with it," naiiritang sabi ko at tumungo pabalik sa sala. I continued watching the series and busied myself with it.

It took us three more hours before finally finishing the series. My bandmates were already asleep on the couch. Astrid was snoring like a father, and Leo was sleeping peacefully while his head was on Astrid's shoulder.

Red was already dead. His head was against the sofa and his mouth was opened. Ronnie was sleeping beside him and so as Fiona. Ronnie's right arm was wrapped around Fiona's shoulders as she was sleeping on his chest. Mag aaway pa, marupok din naman parehas.

I stood up carefully so I wouldn't wake them up. When I successfully did that, I went to the kitchen, took out the groceries, and started to put some that need to be in the fridge, and in the pantry. I was in the middle of putting the Malteser's in the fridge when somebody called me in a whisper.

My head turned to the living room and saw Fiona that was currently standing up quietly because Ronnie's arm was on her shoulders. She went to the kitchen afterward.

"I thought you didn't want anything to do with that?" She asked, then chuckled. I scoffed and shook my head as I put three packs of Malteser's in the fridge's door compartment.
