Anong I don't mind, I guess ka diyan, Cairo?

The wine tasted a bit sweet, I don't know much about wines but I can say that this one tasted good.

"Let's talk about the contract."

I saw Fiona reached for a tissue and handed it to me, I took it from her hands and tapped the tissue on my lips if there are any spill from the wine.

"To be honest, your band was the only one we chose. After seeing your band perform, I can see five people who can make a difference in the music industry." he began. I suddenly felt my heart melting because of those words.

"Our record label is actually loosing some artists since all of them wanted to leave the company have a family." he laughed after his statement.

"We want and need something fresh, something can.. like what Ms. Harper said. Something can settle those unsettled emotions of other people." he calmly said and smiled at us.

Woah, I never thought that I would bring an impact because of those words I said.

"Cairo told me that you performed at Zirkoh?" C.E.O Fordez asked, I saw my bandmates from my peripheral vision that they were shy.

I wanted to laugh but this was a serious conversation.

"Yes, C.E.O Fordez." I simply answered. The ends of his lips rose and chuckled, I was confused at first but I can tell that his chuckle was genuine, you can't feel an insult coming from it.

It looked like he was happy.

"My wife owned the bar, I was told that it was getting packed one night because of one band. I didn't realize that it was your band. It helped us a lot, thank you so much, Ms. Harper." nanlaki naman ang mata ko sa sinabi ni C.E.O Fordez.

Don't thank me." I answered politely and smiled.

Seeing C.E.O Fordez smile can make you smile too even though there's a negative energy lurking around you.

I suddenly remembered that time at Zirkoh's, Cairo called me Serene, how did he know my name back then? Did he ask Ronnie? I looked at Ronnie who later on, was talking together with C.E.O Fordez.

They talked about Ronnie being an actor because of his good looks, of course, Ronnie denied that he wanted to be an actor. One of his cousins was an actor, it runs in the family that they have good looks.

Gwapo nga, nakakaasar naman. Hmpk.

"Ronnie, can I talk to you for a second? Privately?" I glanced at C.E.O Fordez to see if he agrees, luckily, he nodded.
