Anyway, this chapter... hmm, baka mas mahaba pa ito kesa sa huling chapter, I'll do my best para mas malinawan sa situation nila Serene. Minsan nga iniisip ko na lang na baka hindi magustuhan ng iba kung bakit iyon nangyari, but this is a part of the lesson from this story.

I hope you enjoy!

I got back to the unit immediately after that encounter with my brother. It felt good, but I still think that it wasn't the time to talk with them. However, there was a fresh scar on my heart, and it was just starting to heal up.

When I opened the door of the unit, I was expecting that Fiona would surprise me, and she would be sitting on the sofa or somewhere in the kitchen, but she wasn't. I let out a deep sigh before finally setting a foot in the unit.

Closing the door behind me, I had this frowning face as I placed the two boxes of pizza — that were on top of each other, on the counter table. Ronnie and Red were sitting on the sofa, watching something on Netflix. Leo and Astrid were nowhere to be found in the living room. Maybe they were doing something somewhere in the unit.

"Serene, you're back!" Red exclaimed and went in the kitchen.

He helped me untying the plastic straw that secured the two boxes of pizza on their places. I can't untie it so Red insisted in doing so. I left him there so they could open the pizza and went to Astrid's or Leo's room to see if they were there.

When I checked Leo's room first, they were there. Both of them were sitting on the edge of the bed beside each other. Leo was holding a phone and Astrid was looking at it as well. They looked so serious in looking at the phone but I needed to call them so we could eat.

I knocked on the door first before saying, "Hey, dinner's already in the kitchen." I crossed my arms and waited for their response.

"Yeah, okay. We'll be there in a moment," Astried replied, not giving me a glance. I just smiled and walked back to where the kitchen was.

Red and Ronnie were already having a chat when I got there. I sat with them and started to eat a slice of pizza, one after another. I kept quiet and just listened to their conversation, I pretended I was talking to them and had my own thoughts about their topic. I was responding in my mind.

As I stare at the surface of the table, I was still savoring every flavor of the pizza. Pepperoni, cheese, the sauce, it felt like I was eating in heaven.

"Serene?" Ronnie called. My head turned to him and my eyebrows shot up.

"Yeah?"

"You're being too quiet." When Ronnie said that, it was only then that I realized, I really was being too quiet.

I quickly avoided eye contact and busied myself in eating the slice of pizza.

"I'm kind of tired," I replied as an answer. Pero nagpasulot lang talaga ako para hindi na nila ako tanungin pa.

"Ang hirap naman intindihan ng sagot na 'yan, tol. Saan ka pagod?" Red's question hit me hard in the heart. Saan nga naman ba ako pagod?

Maski ako hindi ko alam ang isasagot ko. It was hard to answer so I stayed quiet for while to search for a proper answer. I can feel Ronnie and Red starting at me as I eat the pizza on my hand. I can already infer that they weren't going to give up until they hear my answer.
