As you stepped inside the school, you could hear people murmuring random stuff about you and giving you weird looks as well. You have been facing this since the day you joined this school and it has been almost 5 years since that happened. You have always been a special child because you were born with the Dyslexia problem. Now this thing have a cure and that was something your family couldn't afford. Or maybe they didn't wanted to spend their money on you. A bit about your parents is that they have never been how parents should be. Always comparing you to your sister was their favorite thing. They thought you were just messing around when you told them that you maybe you have dyslexia.

If you are wondering what is the cure then let me explain. It's very simple actually. The people who go through this should be treated nicely and kindly. Their teachers are different. They are trained people who understand the mind of the child. Without using any rude or hurtful way they teach the kids in a playful and fun manner.

Now coming back to the story. You opened your locker and took the book that you wanted for your next class. You felt a soft tap on your shoulder. You turned and a soft smile formed your lips as you saw your best friend,Jace standing there. "Hey! How was your weekend? Don't ask about mine. It was the worst. I thought weekends were for relaxing and not studying." He huffed and saw you closing your locker . You chuckled. "Mine went the same way." You said and both of you walked to your class room. You both have been friends since you joined this school. He was the one and only person who didn't make you feel like an outcast. He became your friend the first day and that was the day your heart belonged to him. Since he always treated you as a friend, you never confessed.

The day went by like the rest of the days. People bullying you and then getting their ass kicked by Jace in return. He was always there for you. He was your lifesaver and he that one person who you never wanted to lose. Slowly opening the door you walked in your house to find you parents talking loudly about something but it didn't sounded bad since their voices sounded like cheers. You never walked to spend time with them so you headed straight to your room. "Y/n, I got straight A's. We are having a small special dinner tonight. You can call Jace if you want. And please dress nicely and don't embarrass me. I have a reputation." Your sister, Summer said and left the room, arrogantly. You sighed and held your head out of frustration.

You hated being around your family but at least you had Jace

You hated being around your family but at least you had Jace. He didn't know how your family treated you since they would act all nicely around others. He only knew about your dyslexia. You shrugged you shoulders as you were done picking your outfit. It was simple but cute. You stayed in your room the whole day and when it was time for dinner you heard a knock on your door. This never happened. Usually your family would walk in without asking. You went to open the door to see Jace standing there with a black leather jacket on. Looking effortlessly handsome. He smiled before hugging you. "Hey. Come on it's time to eat." He said and pulled you out.
