Nick is still missing. They have been searching for hours.
"Hey. Has anyone tried calling him" asked Marissa
"All our phones are dead. It's been a long day and we forgot to charge them remember" said Eli
"I say we stop for the night and head back to the van. It's getting dark." said Noah
"It's only 5pm it shouldn't be this dark" said Marissa.
"We have food so we need to eat dinner" said Dalton P-som
"Fine let's head back and how did you know the time. I thought your phone was dead" said Marissa.
Dalton shows Marissa his watch and she understands. They head back to the van to find out Tyler is hired. They are happy about it. But we're confused and why they didn't ask first. But realized Dan probably didn't but their phones are dead.
Meanwhile.............
EJ made it to where he was supposed to go. He looked at the entrance it was the ghost hunting business. He had a bag with all the items. He went inside and saw all the technology. He was hesitant to be destroying this building. He made sure to unplug all the machinery so he would get electrocuted. He did that with every machine. •SMASH...BAM...BOOOMMM*. Glass and part were scattered everywhere. He went upstairs and there was a shadow. He could make out a hat.
"HEY YOU. LEAVE NOW OR DIE. IM GIVING YOU THIS ONE CHANCE" yelled EJ
The shadow left going the other way. The secret way and was seen running away through a window and all of a sudden he vanished.
EJ finished smashing all the machines and put the sledgehammer back in the bag and grabbed a jerry can. Started running it every which way. It was dripping to the lower floor and there was big puddles on the second floor. There was still a lot in the jerry can so EJ left it so it could make more damage. EJ pulled a second Kerry van and did the same on on the lower floor. The main floor. Then he started to walk outside with his final Jerry can. He went around the building close and far away. Once he was done he left the can and pulled a box of matches out. He strikes 3 so he knew it would work. He dropped them and the matches hit the gas trail. And made its way towards the building. He quickly smashed the sign and brought a few pieces with him to prove he's done it. He even took a picture of the fire that's about to start. And he ran away a soft boom went off. It was the first can. The fire was growing bigger and no one saw it.
"So as I was saying." Said Dalton
He looked outside it seemed to be getting darker and it was only 5:30.
"Hey why is it dark and why does it seem like smoke" asked Eli
They continued eating it seemed like nothing.
A second BoOm went off they noticed it but thought it was just something small. EJ was no where near the fire but could still feel the heat of it. And then it happened. *BOOM! BAM! KABOOM!*
The building went up in flames and exploded. EJ made it to the statue and could see the glow of it and even could feel the heat. But how could he. He was far away from the fire. But then the light he could see was bigger and closer nothing else caught on fire just it was a bigger fire.
"Success" said EJ and just disappeared.
"Hey let's go outside and let's look more." said Jeromy
"Yeah let's go" said Dalton
They walked outside and it was hotter then it was earlier.
How is that possible. It's fall-ish time and should be colder then it was earlier." said Marissa
"It is Pa so weather is weird but not like this. It looks like it's midnight but it's not and it's hotter what could that mean. And what's that faint glow over the hills" asked Hailey
"There's a Fire but no fire could make this much smoke unless... EVERYONE IN THE VAN NOW WE HAVE TO GO" yelled Dalton P-som.
They drove back to the building where there business is amd could see the smoke getting heavier and the light glowing brighter. They started to worry. They made it to the entrance and they realized it's been burning for some time now and no one had called 911. So Dalton assigned someone to call 911. The van made it a safe distance from the building and everyone got out to look at the building. It was truly a sad site to see. All the hard work gone all the ghosts gone. And close by there was a hat. It was Nicks. They had found where he went.
"No. Nick can't be dead. He had to make it out before the fire happened."said Eli
"Exactly Nick knows better if he saw the fire start he would be gone and be safe" said Dan
As they waited for the fire department they all reflected on the work they put in to the ghost business and they started to cry.
