Chapter 2: An Interesting Encounter
Lea P.O.V.
They were walking towards the direction I was sitting. There were 4 dudes. Dude Number One, the shortest, had nicely combed brown hair and he was wearing sunglasses. Dude Number Two was the tallest, he had platinum blonde hair that was very messy and he was also wearing shades. He looked the biggest out of all of them, and had a very unfriendly, tightened jaw. I couldn't see Dude Number Three too well. He was covered behind the tall one. But I did see his black hair and he, too, was wearing shades, Seriously, what is it with these guys and shades? Dude Number Four was an average sized one. He had tapered dirty blonde hair and piercingly cold, ice blue-ish green eyes, that were staring straight ahead. Oh shoot! He was looking straight into my eyes with a mysterious smirk. I fidgeted a bit on the bench, aghhh those eyes are giving me the creeps!
SPLASH! Shoot! I swear I do the weirdest things the weirdest times ever. I internally groan as I stare at the sticky yellow puddle on the floor. I feel my face heating up. Oh god, I probably look like a tomato. Ugh what do I do?? Do I pick it up and look like a big idiot or just sit there awkwardly like a hobo? I feel the stares so I decide to pick it up. I'm about to grab it when that dude from earlier, the one without the shades walks up to me, with the other boys close behind.
"Careful now, you don't want the whole mall to be looking at your little incident, do you?" He looked down at me with a smirk, I was about to say something when he cut me off, "I realize I do have that effect on people, but you should be more aware of your surroundings." He added with a wink. There were few snickers in the background. I wanted to slap this guy so badly. Seriously though, the nerve of him! I bet I dropped the stupid drink because of how freaky and bright his eyes were radiating. I hate this guy. With a passion.
"You better shut your a-" I was about to yell when Emma stepped in. Oh god no. I really don't want these bastards to know my name, that would just embarrass me further. Please don't say my name, please don't say my name, please, please, plea-
"LEA! THERE YOU AR-" her expression from worry changed to shock when we saw the complete utter silence and the five harsh glares from the four boys, and me, for giving away my name to those strangers. Sh-t. Why me? Welp, at least she only said my nickname.
"What in the world?" Sophie whispered, entering the scene. She was carrying like 30 bags in each of her hands. Oh gosh, I hope that isn't just my clothes. My attention soon turned back to the guy.
"Well, Lea, we will be leaving now, enjoy cleaning up the dirty mess." The arrogant boy smirked. Again. The dude seriously has to stop smirking. With this, the four boys trudged away sending glares every which way. After they left, most stares came back on me, however, instead of silence, the wide room filled with talking and whispers.
"Girl, you better tell us everything that happened." I groaned.
"Whyyyy?"
"Just. Spill. Or we ain't leaving this place." I rolled my eyes.
"Fine." And I explained everything I saw and heard. I explained everything from them entering the room, to when I spilled the lemonade, and the rest was history, Then I heard the same high-pitched squeal from earlier.
"How do you not know who they are? They're like the cutest guys in our school!"
"They were all wearing sunglasses, and, I was way too distracted by the lemonade situation." Sophie scoffed.
"From what you've told, it seems like you were distracted by the dude." Sophie pointed. I felt my cheeks turn back to the red color from before. Ewww, I obviously don't like him.
"Heck no, and besides, what do you know, you're only a little girl." Emma laughed as Sophie pouted at my statement.
"Let's continue shopping for a few more stores!"
