"WOOHOH! CLASS TRIP TO THE BEACH! I'M SO PUMPED!"

"yayyyy.. good for you"

The scourging rays of the sun pooled all over the white sand, shimmering under the sight of the individuals lounging on it. The big ball of yellow light beamed quite proudly in the middle of the vast skies along with the silent dancing of the lumps of clouds painted on it.

Nendou slightly frowned with the evident disinterest that you were showing with the current event, your sight desperately shifting from left to right in an attempt to look for a shade that you could actually pester on. A feeling of disappointment crept its way to the crook of your neck upon unsuccessfully locating your personal 'no-no square' around the area.

Today was the scheduled trip of your class to a nearby town's beach which was some kind of a reward given to the section by your homeroom teacher for surviving the first semester. Truth be told, you were kinda bummed with the fact that this was a compulsory trip despite it not being authorized by the school.

Well, whatever.. at least you could collect some crabs or some shells to do some kind of a secret mukbang with by yourself in your apartment.

"(Y/N)-chan! Nendou!" Your ears perked upon the faint mention of your name yet you still didn't dare to exert any effort to look for the source of the voice. You just strained your sight on the tall shaved blonde beside you who was now grinning on a certain direction. A tug was suddenly felt on your olive hued sundress, the end of the said clothing reaching just above your ankles.

You tilted your head to the side, an expression of a teasing smile immediately conquering your face after realizing that it was Aren along with Kaidou tailing behind him. The lavender haired boy pounced the much bigger built blonde before ruffling his hair, leaving a shy bluenette fidgeting his thumb beside you. Just as you were about to give the timid teen a playful nudge on his stomach, you were pulled out of nowhere and before you knew it, your body was being crushed by the childish delinquent into a tight hug.

"I'll be back for you two, sensei just ordered me to bring Nendou to her since she's going to have a small talk with him."

"WHAT! THAT'S UNFAIR! I WAS SUPPOSED TO LOOK FOR PAL AND INVITE HIM TO SWIM WITH US!" Nendou wailed in defeat as Aren just shushed him with a frisky shove on his back, guiding him to where their teacher was supposed to be located.

Come to think of it, you haven't observed any signs of the pink-haired dunce ever since you stepped a foot on the beach's premises. You reluctantly shoved that thought in the depths of your skull and shifted your gaze to the still quiet teen.

"You up with me eating your wiener?"

The sudden entering of your voice in his ears snapped back to reality, his reddish-brown irises blinking in complete surprise because of this. His left hand made its way to tap the exposed skin of his chest as he could finally feel the sizzling heat of the sun piercing through his unclothed torso.

"Say 'what' if you agree with me." You felt like a rapper after saying these set of words in a flash since you muttered it too fast that you did not even understood yourself. This earned you a confused and lost look on the poor male.

"W-WhaT?!" His voice changed pitch and was cracking horrendously in an attempt to cover the embarrassment that was slowly making his insides wither. The once pale cheeks that he possessed were clouded with the teasing dusts of crimson red as he helplessly watched you grin at him, your fingers now squishing his fragile cheeks.

"Thank you, Kaidou!" And with that, you snatched the hotdog bun that he was currently holding on. A proud grimace was triumphantly sewn in your lips as you took a big bite on it, your stomach vibrating in satisfaction while you gently patted the bashful boy's head.

You huffed out in relief after successfully taking your beloved dress off, leaving you with a plain sando and shorts on. A hum just slipped past your throat as you placed your feet on the shallow saltwater. The liquid desperately clutched on you while you finally allowed your whole body to relax on the lukewarm temperature of the sea.

The fact that not that many people are scrolling around the area that you're in right now since there were a lot of rocks in the area made you feel at ease. Plus, there were countless of boulders separating you from the side of the beach where your classmates are having some kind of a campfire in the middle of the day which made them look like a couple of idiots.

You slowly fluttered your eyes closed, enjoying how the perfect breeze seeped in your now soaked hair. It felt really good to just buoyantly float since you were actually on top of a literal water bed. Calmed by the mother nature's alluring features, you freely let your consciousness escape from your once strong grip.

A set of lilac irises scanned the creatures that went pass by him as he settled his self on the peaceful aura that the ecosystem under the water was offering. He has been plopped here on the sea bed for awhile now since through his psychic abilities, he was able to breathe comfortably in the depths of the ocean without worrying if anyone would try and ruin his day.

His swimming trunks are pretty much soaked with the salty liquid and it would eventually shrivel if he stays underwater for a few hours more but he didn't mind. He would just swim his way to the shore if he feels that the class will be going to takeoff from the beach. Afterall, he could just easily dry his self with his pyrokinesis.

He found his self immediately propping his arm on the floor of sand, his eyebrows scrunched closer towards each other after noticing a certain individual freely floating on the sea surface. The thoughts of the newcomer were awfully silent which meant that the person is probably out of conscious..

..or simply sleeping like a sloth.

A disappointed groan whirred in him mentally as he swam towards the individual. His back, for some very odd reason, stiffened upon pulling the body a few feet under the water and realizing who it was.

'Yare yare, how the hell did you even came this far?'

The lungs that was just resting inside you screamed for help upon realizing that it wasn't receiving any oxygen anymore. Big pair of (e/c) snapped open and out of nowhere, you began thrashing around even if you have no idea where you are and why you can't breathe.

Out of panic, Kusuo immediately chanted a temporary ability that allows you to breathe underwater with him. His grip on your waist tightened as he did his best to calm you, something that he found weird to do since exerting any effort in doing anything is not his forte.

He was just caught off-guard. Despite every movement of his being calculated and planned out, he literally feels very dumb when it comes to you. He could just easily teleport you back to the shore but because of his absentmindedness, which is not his usual character, he woke you up. Since you already saw him, it would be hard for him to casually explain everything to you on how you ended up ten feet underwater with him if he'd just simply let you back to the surface.

'Breathe, (Y/N).. You're going to be alright.'

Upon hearing this statement from him, you hesitantly absorbed some oxygen that was dissolved in the water and believe it or not, you did. You blinked in utter confusion, only to be hit with a conclusion that you must be in some kind of a dream.

Kusuo irked his eyebrow at you after witnessing you grinning like a madman when a minute ago, you were practically throwing a tantrum. You placed both of your palms on his bare shoulders before squeezing on them, his wrap around your waist never faltering as well. The words that paced out of your lips caused his insides to churn annoyingly and despite you sounding like a drowning fish, he still magically understood it very well.

"Hello again, Dream Kusuo!"
