"Yes honey, Manang Daisy already prepared-"
"Mom this is insane!! I have to say goodbye to my friends first. Mom why tonight? How dangerous is our lives in here?" I cut her off
Mom's chinita eyes widened at my last question. She stopped the car. I thought it was somewhere far from our house but she stopped right in front of ours.
"Go inside, take a shower and prepare, Manang Daisy already packed your clothes, you pack some things that are important" ignoring all my questions
I did what she said, I took a shower and prepared myself and packed some things that Manang Daisy didn't pack. I walked towards the side table of my bed to get my phone and to send a message.

We really are leaving, it's not a prank, my mom is very serious about it. Yeah I think I'm going to continue grade 12 in Manila. It's sad because I won't be here when we graduate senior year. We are leaving after dinner so don't come nalang. I will call you guys when we get there, I'm gonna miss you all :(( ayaw mog pabadlong ha.
I turned off my phone and went out of my room to eat dinner. This is my last dinner here in Cebu and I will be living the rest of my life in Manila. This is crazy but it's for our safety, we don't have a choice.
Dad is the one who's driving the car to the airport. I'm just listening to my playlist while thinking about my life in Manila, there will be so many adjustments especially in school, I hope I can make new friends in there. We boarded the plane for Manila. It was just an hour flight and now we are here in Manila. Time check it's already 11:45 pm.
Our service has arrived and we immediately went inside. I was just watching the streets of Manila in the car while listening to music. Pumikit ako para matulog, at nong dumilat ako nandito na kami sa bahay ni Dad. It was a big house, may dalawang floor, red roof and white walls, with two balconies.
I left my things in the car because it's already late and we are all tired. I will get my things in car tomorrow. Mom was the one leading me to my room. There's a big bed on the middle with white sheets, the designs are simple just what I like. I also have my own bathroom inside and a small walk in closet.
My body was definitely tired kaya binagsak ko nalang ang aking katawan sa kama. I am wearing a pink hoodie and a white jagger pants, I removed my hoodie and was left with my black spaghetti too and dozed off.
"Gray wake up, you need to get up and eat your brunch" mom said while pulling the comforter
"Mom it's still early, I still want to sleep..... wait did you say brunch?" rubbing my eyes
