Potentially triggering violence warning. I don't glorify violence btw, I hate it, but for the purpose of the story, here we are.

I touched up my hair and makeup a bit to make sure I had my disguise perfectly made.

Seokjin was giving me a one-handed shoulder massage with a distant expression on his face.

He looked like he wanted to puke.

"Penny for your thoughts?" I asked.

He sighed, "I'm just not sure how comfortable I am with this plan of yours. I know you told me to trust you, but this is literally the most dangerous way of going about this."

I saw his forlorn look in the mirror reflection.

I didn't want to worry him and I didn't want to put myself in anymore danger than I had to be in, but something told me this was the best way we'd catch Minchul.

Even Jisol who had constantly badgered me about being careful was onboard with this.

I went and sat on Seokjin's lap, making sure not to accidentally hit the arm in the sling.

I lazily draped my arms around his neck, being extra careful of the arm near his wound. His good arm was securely wrapped around my waist as he stared deeply into my eyes.

I closed my eyes and leaned in, pressing my lips against his.

Things started to get heated as he passionately began to add a bit more pressure and heat.

I entangled my hands in his hair while his hand roamed around my back.

"Was this your attempt at getting me to shut up?" He breathlessly hummed.

I smiled into the kiss, "Nope. It was my way of telling you to stop worrying so much."

He sighed, leaning his forehead against mine while taking deep breaths.

"I know. I know you're brave and strong and you can handle yourself, but I'm still so worried. You're going to be alone on the top of a roof while me and the others are stationed at a distance. There are so many things that could go wrong," he voiced.

I caressed his cheek in my hands.

"I know, but I have to do this. I promise you I'll be careful. I made a promise to you that I'd be there for you, and I intend to keep it," I promised.

He pressed another loving kiss to my lips.

"I know. I believe you."

"Cheonsa, sorry to ruin your moment but it's time to go."

Jisol was always there to ruin the fun wasn't she?

I got up off of him, inspecting my disguise one more time.

The plan was that I was going to pretend to be Misun and then I'd lure him in. Then I'd get a few answers out of him, probably fight and disarm him, and then at the right moment, I'd call for reinforcements and trap him.

Seokjin and I got in the car together and drove off to the location I had set for us to meet.

We were the first ones there because I had told the backup to come after he arrived so he wouldn't get tipped off.

Now I just had to hope he took the bait.

"You're wearing a vest right?"

I rolled my eyes, "You saw me wear it genius."

"Ah sorry. I'm just a bit panicked because you decided not to bring your gun with you," he remarked.

"Stop being a worry wort. I'll be fine. I have to trust my instincts and trust Jisol," I said.
