having gone three days without food and water, I hobbled no crawled to my destination feeling only one thing...Regret.

'I shouldn't have let Andy come on this trip'.

'I shouldn't have asked for any of them for help'

'they're all dead because of me'

'its all my fault.'

I crawled closer and closer to the garden. the garden gate shone in the sunlight like it was made with real gold. maybe it was maybe it wasn't at this point that was not my problem. I needed to get there, I needed to save Alex I couldn't let Andy have died for nothing...I had to get there even if it kills me.

as I reached the gate, I tired to use one of its bars to get up but pain exploded in my right leg and the gaping wound I received from the crash reopened and blood rushed down my leg. I dropped to the floor into a pool of my own blood.my head suddenly began to feel dizzy the gates opened and a figure came out of it but I couldn't make out the details of his face. I grasped my spinning head and groaned. Then looked back at the figure and tried to concentrate my vision on his face but it seemed like he was glowing. His skin shone like liquid gold and the muscles on his shirtless chest and arms as he pointed his double edged sword at me.it was then that a little sense came back to me as I realised how foolish I had been. I forgot one of the most important details of this mission and it had come back to bite me in the ass. I wondered how I had not died with the others but now it was settled. I was going to die.my head resumed its spinning as I slipped off the edge of consciousness with only one thought on my mind...'that angel is going to have my ass'

I put my hand around the small of her back as we walked into the posh Italian restaurant restaurant. she looked around in awe as we made our way to her table and I smiled. seeing her look like a kid in a candy store was definitely what I was expecting this night. I had specifically chosen this place because I knew she always wanted to come here. it's expensive I know but since I got that job at Intels, I could finally give her the life she deserved. I could finally marry her like I always dreamed but what better way than at the place she always dreamed of coming to. she was going to be shocked at what I had planned for her today. we were showed to our table by the waitress and I pulled the chair out for her and when she was seated I sat down too. She looked at me with a dashing smile that always found its way to make me melt. how a guy like me scored a babe like her, I'll never know. then out of curiosity I asked her

'aren't you gonna ask me ow I got the money to have dinner here'

'no' she said calmly 'because I trust that you didn't do any thing stupid to get the mo-'

she had barely finished her statement when five people in ski masks rushed into the restaurant with guns and told everyone to get down. they made a beeline for our table after spotting us and grabbed Alex. I instantly tried to fight back but two men held me down and I watched as they put a bag over alex's head and I struggled with the men holding me and I said

'let her go. its me you want'

the one giving the rest instructions turned to me and scoffed then proceeded to drag me and Alex out of the restaurant and into a black minivan parked outside then they drove off with us in the back seat and two guys on either side of us. I could hear Alex's gentle sob as we approached a building and I whispered in a way that she could hear me even with the bag on her head

' I'm so sorry for putting you through this but I had to do what I had to do'

they stopped in front of the building, dragged us out of the car and into an empty room in the building. they then put Alex on a chair and started stripping off their ski masks and black clothing underneath they were dressed in tuxedoes then they turned tome and smiled. I winked at them. standing there was Damon, Reese, Kilian, Liam, and my best friend Andrew, but I call him Andy. the tune of Justin Timberlake's suit and tie and while we got ready, Andy pulled the bag off Alex's head. The look on her face when she saw him was priceless she wiped the tears from her eyes and asked what was going on. when we started performing the choreography we had practiced for a long time, her expression turned into one of surprise then realisation. when we finished the choreography, I went down on one knee in front of her and said,

'I have been planning to do this for the longest time but I was waiting for the right moment when I knew I was on my feet financially, and had myself together emotionally. I have never had it easy in life but even with all the problems I had, you never left my side. I love you and all I want to do is to spend the rest of my life with you and never leave your side like you never left mine. so I'm asking...,'

I brought out a small black box from my pocket and opened it inside it was the ring she had once told me she liked but never had the money to get.

'Alexandra Natalie Trevor, will you marry me?'

she gasped and the tears started flowing again then she nodded vigorously. I smiled, got up and put the ring on her finger. The rest of the guys clapped and cheered.

'speechless are we Trevor?'I smirked

she stomped on my foot and the smirk vanished from my lips I doubled over In pain. Now it was her turn to smirk

'don't flatter yourself Brenner, by the way that was for making me go through the kidnap'

'come on Alex I already apologized for that.'

'an apology isn't enough'

I took steps towards her until I was directly in front of her, then I leaned so close to her that I could feel her minty breath on my face.

'it isn't? shame. although I know what will.'

I said and covered her mouth with mine.

' oh come on' Andy said 'in front of us?'

the rest of the guys concurred to this and complained but I continued to kiss Alex then suddenly their complaining stopped. I let Alex go and looked around. they weren't there anymore. Where'd they go. I looked back at Alex only to find out that she was very still, much similar to a statue.

'ALEX!' I called shaking her. her body was going cold very quickly. I need help. I looked around desperately ' Andy!' there was no reply .then I looked at Alex once more to find out to my horror that she was fading. slowly turning into dust and fading into nothingness.

'what the heck is going on...ANDY!! WHERE ARE YOU'

I looked around again to see Andy sprawled on the floor in a pool of his own blood

'ANDY'

I looked over at Alex but she was gone. Andy's body was gone too.

I tried to wrap my head around this nightmare. Andy can't be gone. Alex cant be gone too

no no no

'ALEX!!!' I shouted as the darkness closed in on me

hello guys:) I am very sorry for the delay in this chapter. I was struggling with my slow typing skills and school work~and you'll think teachers will give you a break in this pandemic period~*eye roll*.by the way I am literarily dying to know what you guys think about this chapter or what you think I did wrong and I should improve in the next chapter so pls leave a comment and vote if you think the chapter was good^-^
