Even if it's 1,629 miles away

~ CHAPTER 14 ~

~ JUNGKOOK'S P.O.V ~

We entered the van and I sat beside Vanya. The second the car door closed, silence filled the van.

"Do you guys mind if I put some music on?" Namjoon asked, breaking the tense silence.

"No, go ahead." Anne replied.

Music replaced the tense silence which made some of us give in and sing along.

The tense in the air was now completely gone and was now filled with laughter, solid happiness and Namjoon's attempts to hit the high notes of the songs.

"You should definitely stick to rapping Namjoon." Anne stated while laughing out loud.

"I couldn't agree more Anne!" Jin replied while emitting a windshield wiper-like-laughter.

An hour has passed and Namjoon's playlist was now in the sad songs section.

It made me feel very sleepy and before I knew it, my head was now swaying side to side.

I hit my head on the window a couple of times because I was resisting the urge to lay my head on Vanya's shoulders since she was the one sitting beside me.

I eventually let my sleepiness win over my body and was preparing for impact on Vanya's shoulders but before I could lay my head, I was met with her head on my shoulders.

I was too sleepy to even care so I just leaned my head on top of hers.

A few minutes have passed and the van stopped moving.

"Excuse me but we have arrived at the cabin." The driver told us.

"Oh, thank you so much." Namjoon said while rubbing his eyes.

Apparently, everyone fell asleep because of the songs.

I lifted my head because I felt Vanya slightly move. Wait, was I leaning on her the whole time?! I asked myself as I blushed.

I opened the car door since I was the closest to it. I stepped out to stretch my legs and soon, everyone exited the van one by one.

I helped the driver take the bags out of the trunk of the van while everyone was trying to wake themselves up.

The van left and we made our way inside the cabin. It was indeed, too big for seven people only.

It had seven gigantic rooms and a balcony that showed the picture-perfect view nature had provided us.

All of us were wandering around the cabin, glancing at every little detail this beautiful cabin had.

"Guys come to the living room, let's talk about the rooms." Namjoon announced which everyone followed.

We made our way to the living room and sat down on the couch.

"There's seven rooms and there's fourteen of us so two people will share a room, okay?" Namjoon stated.

"So does that mean that one girl and one boy will have to share a room?" Mae asked with a curious look on her face. 

"I guess it does... how about we pick our rooms one by one and who ever picks the same room will be roommates." Jin answered. 

"And to be fair, the girl and boy who will share a room will get the master bedroom so they can have enough room for themselves." Namjoon added.

"What if we accidentally go inside the master bedroom but my roommate is a girl too?" Sasha asked.

"Then you'll switch rooms with the girl and boy." Hoseok answered.

"Oh and since they're at it, the pair will be the ones who will go grocery shopping." Abby added while giggling.

"Sounds good to me." Naomi stated and the others nodded in agreement. 

We faced the TV so picking the rooms would be anonymous.

We took turns picking the rooms and it was my turn. Hoping my roommate was a boy,  I entered the room.

I entered the empty master bedroom and thought, I guess I have to switch rooms later... what a shame, Thinking that Taehyung would pick this room since It was his turn to pick rooms next. 

I sat on the giant bed when I heard something...

"Hold on... what's that sound? Is someone here with me?" I said out loud hoping no one would answer.
