~ CHAPTER 17 ~

~ JUNGKOOK'S P.O.V ~

Vanya went to the drinks isle and I went to get the teddy bear she wanted. 

I was making my way back to the drinks isle when I saw Vanya flirting with a boy. 

I could feel my blood boiling. I clenched my fist and shouted "VANYAA!" letting out the anger that piled inside of my body. 

They flinched when I shouted. I stomped my way to the both of them and the guy glared at me. Of course I wouldn't back down so I glared back at him. 

"Did you seriously have to shout my name?" Vanya asked as she slapped my arm. 

I ignored her and asked "Who's this?" while keeping my gaze at the guy.

"Oh! Jake meet Jungkook, Jungkook meet Jake." She introduced us to each other. 

He held his hand his out for a handshake and said "Nice to meet you, Jungkook."

I ignored him and faced Vanya who gave me a displeased look. "Did you get everything already?" I asked her.

She rolled her eyes and said "Yeah, but should I get another pack of beer?"

"Yeah, let's get another one." I replied while fixing the things inside the cart. 

"Here, let me-" I was cut off by Vanya who turned to Jake. "Jake could you get me another pack of beer please?" she asked while pointing at the pack. 

I can't believe she asked him instead of me!

"Sure!" Jake replied with a smile as he reached for the pack.

He gave the pack to Vanya and she placed it on the cart.

"Why did you ask him? I'm literally beside you!" I exclaimed as she faced me.

"Stop whining, he was closer to it, okay?" She replied and I just scoffed in return. 

"Whatever, let's just go..." I stated as I pushed the cart.

We were about to go to the cashier when I felt someone pull Vanya away. 

It was Jake. Of course... He grabbed Vanya's wrist which made her stumble a bit. 

"What the heck are you doing?!" Vanya shouted as she tried to escape from his grip. 

"Oh sorry... I was just wondering if I could have your number..." He stated as he let go of Vanya's wrist. 

Nope! Not on my watch!

I pulled Vanya by her wrist and said "No, you can't have her number so go away."

Jake grabbed her other wrist and both of us were pulling her.

She was the rope in a game of tug-of-war.

"Who the hell are you to say that?!" Jake bitterly asked.

"Stop it! Both of you!" Vanya shouted as she escaped our grip. 

I grabber her by the waist and she crashed onto my chest.

"I'm her boyfriend so back off!" I shouted which shocked both of them. 

He stayed quiet and we walked away. 

"Since when were you my boyfriend?" Vanya asked breaking the silence. 

"And since when were you so flirtatious?" I asked back in a sarcastic tone.

She scoffed and said "Jake and I are just friends... Are you jealous, Jeon?" which made me stop walking.

I was, in fact jealous but me and Vanya are just friends. Nothing more, nothing less. I had absolutely no right to be jealous. 

"I am definitely not jealous! And don't take that 'boyfriend thingy' seriously." I exclaimed as I proceeded to walk towards the cashier again. 

She caught up and walked beside me again and said "If you say so Kookie~" 

My eyes widened and I froze.

"Who the heck told you my nickname?!" I whisper-shouted. 

"Tae did. I think it's cute." She giggled and walked away.

Leaving me, a blushing mess. 

Cute? S-she thinks i-it's cute?
