AUTHOR’S POV
“Come on! Hit me!” Janella shouted habang dumedepensa sa mga atake ni Margarita on the sparring ring.
It’s been a week since Margarita joined the Soshiki and everything’s not that good. However, her movements are better unlike the first day. Margarita still needs to learn how to use her strength and agility for offense and defense.
“Gosh! You’re so mabilis e!” reklamo ni Margarita na hindi man lamang makalapit kay Janella.
“You’re so mabilis e” Janella mimicked how she says “Just prove us na karapat dapat ka, Or else you’ll die”
Margarita relaxes her body, getting ready for an offense launch, aiming to at least create contact. Then, she raged up to hit a punch on Janella’s stomach but dodged it.
She continued to hit relentlessly, trying to read Janella’s movement. Somehow, nagawa niyang basahin ang galaw ni Janella at natamaan ito sa may kalamnan.
Janella was shocked to see how Margarita executed it. She’s like a kangaroo springing to kick anyone’s ass. But, Janella knew that it isn’t the time to praise her opponent.
She then grabbed Margarita’s pulse, performed a dump and leaving Margarita lying in the floor.
“You’re getting better”, Janella complemented Margarita.
Melody came rushing to Margarita while holding a medical kit. She then checked yung likod since yun yung tumama sa sahig.
“Ayos naman… walang injury” Melody announced as she fixed her kit.
Margarita glared at Janella while gripping her fists hardly.
“You’re so bad talaga!”, Margarita’s seriously pissed at her.
Hinawakan ni Janella ang kaniyang dibdib at nagmukhang lugi. “Wow ha! Hindi ko naman kasi sinabing sumali ka diba?” she sarcastically said while rolling her eyes.
“Tumayo ka na diyan! You need to practice knife throwing again.” Janella commanded at Margarita na nakahiga pa rin sa sahig dahil sa pagod.
“Tayo!” pasigaw na ulit ni Janella.
Maragarita instantly stood up of the ground, annoyed at Janella. She then followed her to the aiming room where her training will occur.
Melody on the other hand, refused na sumama sa kanila since she received a text from Charles na may imemeet na new member na kilala niya.
“Finally, natapos na rin!” she stretched her arms pagkatapos mapunasan ang ring.
Subsequently, her phone rang surfacing Jonathan’s name.
“Hello?” she answered the call.
“Guess who’s Soshiki’s new member?”
MARGARITA’S POV
I never expected na being a part of Soshiki is so difficult pala. First week palang, pagod na ako. But, I won’t quit this time!
They told me na ang training ko ay after school and every weekends. It’s safe naman daw. I’m very thankful na they gave me the luxury of studying.
“Tayo ka na sa gitna” utos ni Janella sa akin.
I stood up in the middle of the platform wearing all the equipment I need. The throw knives and belt.
The platform I’m standing in is surrounded by dummies. They got targets and bulleyes. It’s amazing that they got the funds to customize something like this.
