Chapter 16

MARGARITA'S POV

"Blaze will be front line on this mission" Charles announced regarding to the positions.

We're here sa headquarters ng Soshiki, 8 AM, sitting on the round table and discussing what to do in the mission.

Kagabi, I can't sleep talaga! Parang yung heart ko pump ng pump. Maybe it's because of both excitement and fear. This really is a challenge for me but a queen like me love challenges.

I drank warm milk and played some sleepy tunes pero no effect. Sleepiness attacked me around 9PM. It's quite late na sa 8PM routine ko so I consider it as puyat na.

Buti nalang coffee helped me a lot to feel energized pagkagising ko. After I drank coffee and bathed, naglakad na ako papunta sa headquarters right away.

I'm wearing a brown tube top, beige leggings and rubber shoes. Only light make-up and hair blow-dry ang ginawa ko. I did'nt bother to curl it since mapapagod rin naman ako sa mission.

"Right Commander!" my attention diverted quickly to Janella who blinked flirtatiously at Charles.

"Swan and Arch will come with me... to hijack the securities while Nobunaga will help you with the frontline", dagdag pa ni Charles.

We all nodded at the plan. Charles stood up and distributed us papers containing illustrations and maps. Napakunot nalang ang noo ko nang makita ko ang lugar.

"So basically the plan is... mag-aapply akong secretary-" naputol ang pagsasalita ni Janella when Nobu makes singit singit.

"Nope, you won't apply kasi applied ka na. All you need to do ay pumunta sa meeting place niyo, which is sa Falcon bar"

"Al...right" Janella said with her eyes filled with irritation.

Charles then grabbed another briefcase. He layed it on top of the table, at ipinakita ang iba't ibang weapons and killing equipment.

He then gave each of us a lens case, earpieces, a spray, gloves, mask, and suits. Binuksan ko ang lens case at nakakita ng lens (duh) na kulay neon yellow at green highlights.

"That's nightvision lenses. So it means, aatake tayo ng gabi. I want all of you para ayusin lahat ng kailangan niyo at pagpatak ng 10PM ay aatake ng tayo", He then looked at us. "Any question?"

I raised my right arm. Lahat sila bumaling sa akin giving me a confused look. "Can I change yung handle nung throw knife ko? It's quite itchy e.

Gosh! Buti naalala ko nangangati na pala ako sa mga throw knives ko. Nagkarashes pa nga ako e. Maybe, dahil yun sa pawis.

All of then laughed silently but not Charles. He then looked at me and spoke.

"Sure" he answered. "Any more?" The atmosphere returned to being serious.

"Okay. Dismiss!" He said.

One by one, naglakad kami palabas sa kuwarto. I ran para puntahan si Janella pero there's a hand na pumigil sa akin.

I looked at Melody signing to stop.

"Huwag mong kakausapin muna si Janella. She's aggressive kapag nasa front line siya ng mission" she whispered at me.

I nodded. Pero how can I buy the fabric tuloy? Gosh! I need a kasama pa naman. How about Melody?
