"Limah" i heard Xavier say.

"yes" i replied in return.

"You were staring at that particular spot for a minute" he said pointing to my bed.

"You zoned out"

"I called your name twice you didn't reply"

"Are you ok?" Xavier asked.

"Yeah am fine", i replied, sitting on my bed leaving quite a distance between us.

"I don't bite" i heard Xavier say while smirking.

"Does my presence affect you that much" he added smiling slightly.

"Of course not" i replied quickly while blushing.

Ughhh do i really have to blush now i muttered to myself.

"You sure"? Xavier asked shifting closer.

"Yeah" i said stuttering slightly.

He was really close now.

"You sure"? he asked again, I could sense the tease in his voice.

"Yeah"

"Why are you blushing then", Xavier asked while poking my cheeks.

"I'm not" gosh! this is so embarrassing I thought to myself.

Xavier was giving me a weird look now while tracing his hand on my cheek what is he doing I thought while panicking.

My heart was beating really fast now cool down Limah take a deep breath.

It's just a friendly gesture I thought, scolding myself.

"hmm" he replied in return,

"How did you die?" I asked his hand dropped from my face almost immediately.

His expression was unreadable he stood up quickly.

"I have to go" he didn't even wait for my reply before disappearing.

"Way to go Limah" you really know how to ruin a moment, i added sighing slightly.

I am so confused my life was way normal before I came to New York City.

My dad is hardly home he keeps things from me now, I can see a ghost who is really complicated to understand.

Starting a new school meeting Zayn and his friends why did my dad have to lose his job.

I said while drifting off into a peaceful slumber.

I woke up to see it was already dark I went downstairs, to check if my dad was home yet.

But to my surprise he was not, opsss is just me and you I said pointing to the television.

It has been quite a long time since I last watched a movie.

I popped down on the couch making a thud sound I searched through the channel but couldn't find anything to watch.

Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I groaned out loudly, I love my life I said sarcastically.

"Really" I heard someone say I turned around and saw Xavier standing there behind the couch.

"Seriously" I said while giving xavier you don't ever listen look.

"I told you to stop creeping on me like that you almost gave me a heart attack"

"Being a ghost is an advantage for me I guess" Xavier replied smiling.

"Why is that so?" I asked.

"Uhmmm course I get to creep on you anytime anywhere and anyplace" he said smirking.

I wish I could slap that smirk off his handsome face.

"Like what you see" Xavier asked pointing to his face.

"Whatever" I replied while rolling my eyes.

"What are you watching"he asked.

Before I could reply I heard my dad say.

"Limah i'm home.." he shouted while knocking at the door.

I quickly got up and opened the door.

"Hey Dad" I greeted while hugging him tightly.

"Hey baby girl" my dad replied while kissing my cheek.

"how are you doing?".

"Am fine" I replied.

"How was your day" I asked.

"fine" my dad replied while yawning,

"I guess you must really be tired" I asked

"Yeah good night" my dad said going upstairs, when I got back to the living room.

Xavier was not there anymore I was quite disappointed.
