It was an hour into the bus ride to the Summer Training Camp, 1-A was loud and rowdy as ever. Midoriya was sleeping on both Hitoshi and Shoto, who were talking quietly with each other. Aizawa was lightly napping in the front of the bus, keeping an ear out for trouble from the class. Everything was normal, especially when Midoriya cuddled into Aizawa's sleeping bag and lulled the man into an even deeper sleep.

They pull up to a stop and Aizawa is jolted awake by the sudden increase of confused noise. He takes a second to process, then orders everyone off the bus and to the 'rest stop'. Moving carefully, so as to not wake the precious green bean napping on him, he discards the sleeping bag and follows them out.

They're greeted by Mandalay, Pixie-Bob, and a child. They do their little catchphrase gag thing, and promptly toss the class off the cliff. Mandalay makes a vague motion to where he's holding Izuku, and Aizawa gives her his best 'try it and they'll never find your body' look. It works like a charm and she doesn't mention it.

Unfortunately, Pixie-Bob is less inclined to drop it, and skips over in spite of his glare to get a better look at the kid.

"Aww!" She coos, "isn't he just the cutest? Don't you wanna put him through the forest too? Aren't you being too soft with him, Eraser?"

Eraser just grunts and heads back to the bus, the other kid, the one that isn't his, is already on it, glaring at the world like it personally offended him, jeez, kids these days.

Pixie-Bob drops it, in favor of concentrating on her quirk, giving out a surprised comment on one of his kids every now and then as they make their way to the camp. Mandalay explained that the other kid is her nephew, Kota and the circumstances surrounding why he came to live with her and the Pussycats via her telepathy.

By the time they make it to camp, Izuku is no longer snuggled up to Aizawa and they had no idea where he'd run off to. Mandalay seemed surprised when the boy was no longer anywhere in the bus, but Aizawa just brushed it off as 'Problem Child being a Problem™' and not to worry about it.

Mandalay is obviously still worried for the boy and asks Ragdoll to look for him with her quirk, "hmm, odd. I can't find him."

That causes Mandalay to panic even more, Aizawa gruffly assures her that Izuku is fine and that he probably went to help or hug his classmates. He tells her it's common for him to disappear like this and that if something was wrong, they'd know.

He's proven right half an hour later when he appears once again, clinging to Aizawa, who's taken the opportunity to nap. He grunts a little when he gets a pointy elbow to the ribs and a soft sorry.

Aizawa warns him that he can't disappear like that without telling them during the trip, citing Mandalay and Pixie-Bob's near heart attacks. He gives a shy sorry to the Pussycats who are all watching him with shock.

Aizawa ignores them and focuses in on Izuku's murmured ramblings of how well the class is doing, the teamwork, the moves, the commands Momo and Iida give, gushing about their improvements and picking apart what they can work on more. Aizawa grunts affirmatively when necessary, mentally noting down the important bits.

After an hour of that, he mumbles that he's gonna go check on them and disappears before anyone can reply. The Pussycats are left with questions they know Aizawa won't answer and take the oddities in stride, this class must be very good if there's still 20 of them.

It's almost dark when the class finally shambles through the edge of the woods, the only one who doesn't seem exhausted is Midoriya, who is carring Denki, Aoyoma, and Uraraka, with Momo leaning heavily on both him and Todoroki. Denki fried his brains and to keep him from tripping or running into beasts, Izu decided to carry him. Aoyoma had sprained his ankle in the fall, but had tried to push through until he couldn't and Izu offered to carry him on his back. Ura had over used her quirk and just the thought of moving made her sick, so Izu carried her too. Momo had exhausted her fat reserves and was light headed and weak.
