Chapter 11

Will's P.O.V.

The girl is still in coma. It's been a week from her accident and Nico's been sticking around waiting for her to wake. I asked him why and he said he needed to ask her something. I haven't pressed knowing that's all I'm gonna get out of him. Nico's in the room as I'm doing tge daily check up. He's just staring at her confused and anxious. After I finish Nico smiles. Her eyes flutter open. The first person she sees is Nico and instead of looking scared like other campers do when they spot Nico, she smiles and looks into his eyes. "Hi." she says in a hoarse voice that's like an angle's voice. Definately Aphrodite. "Hello." Nico says smiling. I walk over and Nico looks at me. He smiles more. I smile back at him. I look at the girl. "Hello, I'm Will. This is my friend Nico. What's your name?" I ask. "Grace Cook." she answers. A nymph hands me a glass if water and I give it to Grace. She takes it and gulps it down. "Thank you." she says sweetly her voice even sweeter and more memorizing than before. I take the cup and set it down. "Can you tell is what happend to you? How you got those injuries?" I ask. Grace shifts uncomfortably. "You'll just laugh or say I'm crazy." Grace says. I laugh. "Let me guess, a big dog chased you. Not just any big dog though. It was like a tower over you right? Like, a building." I describe. Her eyes go wide and she nods. "How-" she starts and I smile at her and wink. Chiron comes in in his horse state. "I died didn't I? Am I hallucinating?" Grace asks wide eyed. Nico looks at her and smiles. She looks back and smiles. Her stiffness disappears and she completely relaxes. I fight a scowl and a hiss. I smile at Chiron and he nods understanding. I walk out. I can't stand the way she looks at my Sunbaby! I take a deep breath. I have to calm down. I'm over reacting. If Nico really didn't want to be with me he wouldn't. I'm just being jelouse. I just don't want to loose my world, my life, my Sunbaby.
