Chapter 24

Nico's P.O.V.

I frown bored. These snake ladies are wusses whenever I pull out my sword. "Yeah, yeah. You're snake ladies. We get it. Why are you in here? Mrs. O'Leary is scarier than you creatures." I say tauntingly. Hey, they're monsters. They're evil. Don't judge. "Are you sssssssssssure about that dear?" one of them asks coming into the light. Yep, still the same as before but somehow they've gotten uglier. "The only difference is that you've gotten uglier. How is that even possible?" I ask mockingly. She hisses angrily. I take out my sword and she cries out in fear. "Stupid snake." I say smirking as I slash through her. I urge my pegasus forward and slash around. "Stay behind me!" I yell and I know they listen. I slah around blindly hearing dying hisses. We make it through. "Phew." Will says relived. I roll my eyes. "Please. The Tatarus was harder. That was child's play." I say. Percy and Annabeth nod in agreement. "Definately." they say together. We venture deeper in the cave as I feel Will tense up at every little thing. Come on Will. I spot a silvery light figure ahead. "Hello?" I ask. It turns and faces me. "Hi Nico." she says softly. "Bianca?" I ask my voice faltering.

She walks over to me. "I'm alive. Hades brought me back to life." she says happily. "Nico." a woman's voice rings out. I recognise it but barely. It's been so long. "Mom?" my voice cracks. "Hello sweetie." she says softly coming up behind Bianca. "Mom!" I cry out jumping down but Will grabs me. "Let me go." I growl. He shakes his head. "What do you see?" he asks curiously. "My mom and sister. They're as plain as day." I reply confused. "I see my family." he says. "Percy!" Will calls out. "Mom and Paul." he answers. "Annabeth." Will says. "Dad and-" she cuts off instantly looking ashamed. "Luke." Percy finishes softly almost hurting but he loves her. She nods slightly. He kisses her head. "I see my friend." Rebecca says. "Grace?" I ask. Her face turns red. "I wish not to say if you mind." she says stubbornly. I don't push. The two figures look at me. "Bye Bianca. Bye mom." I say clumbing back on. We pass by and I slice them wincing as I do so. Will rubs my arms reassuringly. I can't believe I fell for that. This cave has the most dangerous creatures in the world. How could I be so weak minded? I huff frustrated. I've gotta survive this cave. For Will. But, I have a feeling only one of us will make it out of here alive.

(A/N) Mad-E had her right leg aputated March 13, 2015. I can't belive she lost her right leg. Please continue to keep her in your prayers. Oh! Also, this story is going to end soon after they rescue Rebecca's friend which should be soon. I may or may not do a sequel depending on what you guys what. I might do another Solangelo story about them in the real world with no gods, magic, myths, monsters but close enough. Let me know what you think in the comments below. Bye.
