Chapter 27 - Comfy

The bright sunlight shone through the window's curtains, illuminating her quiet room, where the two lovers were peacefully sleeping.

Conner stretched his arms, and slowly opened his eyes, adjusting to the different enviroment around him.

He had already spent the night at her place before, but it had been a few weeks ago, and felt kinda weird, after all that time.

He looked around for a moment, smiling, as he found y/n asleep beside him.

"So cute" he thought, laying back down and snuggling closer to her.

He had missed her.

Her flowery scent, her soft, messy hair, her beautiful smile... he couldn't believe his eyes every time he looked at her.

She was just too good to be true, and he felt really lucky to have her in his life.

He rested his head beside hers, and softly wrapped an arm around her waist, pulling her closer to him.

He sweetly pecked her neck, and smiled even wider, as she slowly stirred, waking up as well.

"Morning babe" he whispered.

"Hey... how long have you been awake?" she said, her voice still husky.

"Just a couple minutes, but it was enough to see it..."

"See what?"

"How beautiful you are" he smirked.

She rolled her eyes, giggling at how basic that was. It sounded like something an eight grader would say.

"That was really low, even for you..." she teased him.

"I know" he laughed "...but it's true. You're beautiful"

He softly smiled, deeply staring into her y/e/c eyes, and chuckled, as she blushed.

She really was cute.

"...Are you busy today?" he asked.

"No... no, I don't think so"

"And Sarah is coming home when?"

"In a couple days. She's staying at her brother's place in Boston. Why?"

"...Well, I was thinking we could stay in, today... you know, have lunch together here, watch something on Netflix... boyfriend/girlfriend stuff"

"That sounds like a really good idea" she grinned "...And what do you wanna start from?"

He thought about it for a moment, looking up at the ceiling.

"...What about we cuddle here a bit?" he proposed, his cheeks getting suddently of a deep red, as he realized what it sounded like.

"I-I mean cuddling cuddling, not making out... like, hugging, that kind of stuff... b-but we can make out too, if you that's what you want... I-I mean-

"I know, I know, don't worry" she giggled, turning to face him.

She quickly pecked his cheek, laughing, as he sighed, relieved, while lying down on his back.

She then rested her head on his hard chest, and wrapped her arm around his waist, as his did the same around her shoulders, bringing her even closer to him.

She softly smiled, and moved her hand up to his abdomen, caressing his strong abs. Man, he was so gorgeous...

He relaxed, and started playing with her hair, running his fingers through it and gently tugging it every now and then.

A comfy silence fell on the room, keeping them as warm as a nice wool blanket in the middle of winter.

She closed her eyes, and carefully listened to his heartbeat, as his chest rose and fell softly under her.

She was enjoying every second of it, every breath he took. With him, everything felt perfect, in place, and she knew she was excactly where she wanted to be.

Suddently, Conner broke that silence.

"I love you" he said softly.

Y/n froze.
It was the first time he had ever said that to her, and she really wasn't excpecting it.

They had been together for almost a month now, and she didn't think it was that serious for him as it was for her.

But it felt really heartwarming, and she couldn't resist, as a smile took over her features.

He felt the same way! How great is that? She had never been with someone that caring and kind, and she especially had never liked someone like she had liked him.

It was more than 'liking', tho.

"...I know it's a bit soon to say it, but-

"I love you too" she interrupted, looking up at him "...I love you"

He smiled widely as well, and cupped her face in his hands, pulling her into a sweet, passionate kiss.

He was so happy to know she did too...

They slowly pulled away, resting their foreheads against one another's, and then went back to their places, without saying anything else.

There was nothing else to add.
They had already told each other everything they had to say.

And again, everything was perfect.

This is a bit shorter than usual, but I wanted to write something sweet and fluffy, and this is the best I can do, for now. Also, I feel really sleepy, and I think this can be enough for today.
